Lovely little camp located in the mara north conservancy, there is a great view onto a lush hillside which game frequent for the salt lick. Looks stunning with a beer in hand watching the sunset. All meals are eaten at a large table, so it feels like a home meal. The food was without fault, and the staff were very... More

We have just spent a wonderful long wend at Saruni Mara. The staff, service, food and setting were wonderful! The game viewing and varied landscape is breathtaking, John our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. Only recommendation would be to spruce up Nyati House as it is a little tired but the Family Villa was lovely and very accommodating for... More

We stayed at Saruni Mara over the Labor Day weekend and it was absolutely magical. The best thing is that there are only 5-7 tents in all (I think) which gives a very cosy feeling. The guests and the manager have lunches and dinners together, amidst delightful conversation. The property is amazing with a spectacular view from the tents and... More

We had 3 fantastic days at Saruni Mara. Great game-drive, with a very well educated and informative tour guide, great humour and very pleasant to spend time with. The staying at the Camp was also in same standard great food, nice rooms with a perfect view. Can only give the best recommendations.

I can only warmly recommend this place. Located in the middle of the wilderness, with lions roaring in the background and warthogs, antelopes and their friends grazing in front of your terrasse, it is the perfect mix of relaxation, very good food, safari at its best, and warm hospitality. You want privacy? You get your own house and are left... More

I could not have dreamt of a better honeymoon than the one we spent at Saruni Mara. The staff was so accomidating and friendly. The grounds and our room (the observatory) was beautiful. This was our first safari together and also our honeymoon so we were expecting a lot, and Saruni Mara didn't disappoint. We were greeted by Dan, the manager, and Martin a member of staff who showed us around Saruni Mara and then to our private lodge, 'The Love Shack'. The views from the main lodge and dining area are breath-taking... More

We were met at the Mara North airstrip by our guide for 3 days, John. The four of us had our own Land Rover for our time there and John didn't waste any time in starting our safari adventure on our way back to Saruni Mara. On route John saw some vultures circling and we headed toward a fresh buffalo... More
