I wasn't sure what I was in for when my Agent booked me into a tented lodge but when I arrived at Siana Springs I was pleasantly surprised. My tent was so much more than I ever imagined with comfortable beds, a table and chairs, ensuite with separate toilet area, separate shower area and open vanity area. It was very... More

For me, the highlight of wonderful 13-day Go Ahead / Vintage Africa tour were the two days touring the Masai Mara and visiting a nearby Masai village. This conveniently located tent camp enhanced the experience. Good food. Friendly staff. Great in-the-wild ambiance. Even intermittent WiFi service in the bar.

This offered us the true Mara experience,we all loved it. The Drive was so action packed. How can I forget to mention that we travelled when it was so wet, in fact, one evening we had just crossed the Mara River only to get to Siana Springs and it poured so so much that the ones behind us took over... My daughter and I loved our visit here. It was well off the beaten path - I didn't know how our driver was able to find it but once there, we enjoyed our time. The tents were very comfortable - our first time in something like that - we loved the hot water bottles heating our beds. The staff were... More

The drive there is really depressing. I would advise anybody to fly as there is an airstrip near the camp. The welcome drink and cold towel are really refreshing although the juice can be colder #ice. The grounds are really nice and well manicured, a little haven in the middle of nowhere. The food was by far the worst part... More

As most of the reviewers said, the access road of 30 minutes drive frustrates you. The road is not as bad as mentioned in few reviews but you dont want to spend 1 hour (both sides) to enter the park. FYI, the main road to Masai Mara is also unpaved and the extra distance of 25 minutes to lodge really... More

I and my fiancee visited Masai Mara and we stayed at the Siana Springs tented village hotel. The words we both had were in a nutshell totally amazing service. After a tiring day on safari, it was so nice to come back to an open bar where the barman Mr NAMAI had a permanent smile on his face and nothing... More

My wife and I stayed here in October on our honeymoon and couldn't fault a single thing. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful, ensuring that we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Our room/tent was perfect, providing all you'd expect from a tented camp and more, with excellent bathroom facilities and power points to charge your cameras & phones. The... More

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Kenya and Tanzania with Gate 1 Travel. While at the Masai Mara, we stayed at the Siana Springs Lodge. IT WAS TERRIFIC!! This is what I was hoping for in Africa. The camp has a natural feel while the tents are surprisingly comfortable and offer all necessary ameneities. The sweet... More

As our vehicle left the tarred road to travel about eight odd kms to the resort , it was quite a bumpy ride which turned into oohs and aahs as we walked through a tunneled entrance covered with foliage and resounding with bird calls! A quick welcome drink and we were escorted to our tents ...my first experience of a... More
