There are several upscale lodge and safari camp style hotels to chose from in this spectacular Masai Mara Game Reserve Area: I highly recommend The Fairmont Mara Safari Club for a number of reasons. The tented bungalows are extremely comfortable and decorated with local Masai style furnishings. The tent material is quite sturdy and has several screened openings for great... More

I won't repeat the many other 5 star reviews here but suffice to say this is a memorable romantic getaway destination. Excellent value and high standard. In the night you'll drift off under canvas surrounded by a sleepy safari soundscape. You could almost be listening to a 'sound effects of the bush' recording. The deluxe tents with inside & outside... More

Stayed here for three days and it absolutely blew my mind. The location is fantastic and very luxurious, with fabulously comfy tents/rooms. All of the staff were hugely friendly and helpful, especially the guy whose job it is to chase monkeys away! The guides were very knowledgeable, and even when you are driving around looking for big game but not... More

I stayed at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club over the New Year with my fiancee in order to spend three days on safari. The camp is well located in an oxbow on the Mara river and gives excellent views of hippos and other fauna coming and going, particularly whilst you are eating your breakfast and lunch. Food is buffet style... More

Safari club is an amasing 5xxxxx tented camp with al facilities you can get. You are staying at about 50 meters from the Mara river and with a little luck you can see hippotames, crocks swimming in front of you. At the other site of the river, about 200 meters, you can see lots of animals, lyons, impala, monkeys, etc.... More

We had a romantic three nights here for our September honeymoon. The service was lovely, our game driver was wonderful, the suite (tent/room) was romantic, the food was good, the Masai performance was fun, there's nothing bad to say about this place. In late Fall the evenings got a bit cool but after dinner we returned to our room to... More

Just returned from 3 nights/4 days at Mara Safari Club and struggling to fault it. We flew from Nairobi to the Mara on a small plane and hotel staff were there to meet us with welcome drinks. We arrived Christmas day around lunch time and the lunch spread was brilliant. Huge Turkey and other meats, along with many other local... More

We are a family of 4, with 2 teenagers, and came here for 1 night, arriving from another tented camp in the western Mara. Having seen fantastic game in the Mara Reserve, I was a bit scptical that this might be a nice place but not much to see as it is located in a Mara concession area, rather than... More

It is no wonder that this camp has been awarded the best hotel in Africa and the Middle East by Travel and Leisure Magazine in 2010. We have been going for many years since back in the 90's but the renovations are superb. We were collected by Ferdinand of Beach Air Tours and Safaris who organised the trip for us... More

Just returned home today (Scotland) from Kenya, including the Mara Safari Club. Can't fault it at all. Great service, lovely people, good eating ... and a wonderful driver (Kepha) who found us everything (except the elusive leopard). Everything has to be experienced, including the off-roading in the hands of an expert. Whoever gives this a two or three star rating... More
