Of all the lodges we stayed at on safari, Mara Simba was our favorite. The staff was attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent; the vegetarian curries and lentils were particularly good. I stayed in Mara Simba Lodge for two days. Remember to ask for rooms in the upper floor which offer better view. The things I like most about the lodge were friendly staff and the river view. We stayed there in Jul 07 food and service we good. But on the third night when we were at dinner it rained in our room. I t totaled our camera and journels. There were not very understanding about it . Will try a differnt lodge next visit. more

Was worried by a previous post and use of credit card. We had no problem. The rooms are spacious, clean and with a nice balcony, we were on top floor.
