I was in Nairobi and decided last minute to take a trip to the Masai Mara, after searching the net I found Simba Lodge, it looked reasonable and I only needed it for 2 days. Booked it over the phone. A friend who lives in Kenya arranged a driver for us to take us there and to drive us around... More

Stayed here for 3 nights but could have stayed a week. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Staff should be given a special mention as they were instrumental in making our stay special. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Wildlife viewing from your room was a bonus. Elephant, hippo and crocodile, baboon, vervet monkey and mongoose plus... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as we were having game drives in Masai Mara. The lodge is situated right next to the river, and a family of hippos lived just outside the bar. Three adults and a baby hippo. We could hear their grunting in the night. There where also som crocodiles in the river. The staff were very... More

Although this segment of our trip to Kenya was short, it certainly provided great memories for our family. Not only were the accommodations superb, the lodge is situated on a river teaming the wildlife. During an evening dinner at the lodge, we were thrilled to see a battle between a hippo and crocodile from the dining room balcony. Service was... More

We stayed at the Mara Simba Lodge for two nights as part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. We had a big room with a balcony that overlooked 2 large crocodiles and the occasional hippo. We could have spent hours sat on that balcony watching all the wildlife across the river coming and going. The lodge gave us a... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights during our safari trip to masai mara. We stayed in the upper level wooden cottage which was facing the river. Rooms were well kept and comfortable. Great food. Friendly n welcoming staff. Swimming pool was very cold; not temperature controlled. A very pleasant stay right in the middle of wild life.

Nice clean lodge and rooms. The entire staff was friendly and very accommodating. Food good, wine reasonably priced. Game drives were excellent. Gnus, zebras as far as the eye could see. Lots of cheetahs, lions, elephants and especially giraffes.
