What a wonderful place to stay. We had booked through a travel company, and had originally been placed in a different lodge, then changed at the last minute. We had some concerns about that, but they quickly disappeared when we arrived at the lodge. The driver from the lodge picked us up at the airstrip, and while he did not... More

3 women travellers as part of a safari group, we stayed for 2 nights and it was fantastic. The main lodge, where you have you're meals and the bar, was beautifully laid out. Check in was fast and efficient and staff were on hand to take your luggage from the transport to your room. We had a triple room beside... More

We really liked the Mara Simba once endured the nigh on 1h30m 'African bush massage' to get there from the mettled road. Fast access to the Mara. A lovely tranquil place with good food and great staff. Loved the pool area for that brief time to chill!

We stayed here for three nights and just loved it, particularly everyone working there. This is the kind of place where they pull your chair out for you and place your napkin in your lap. Unexpected comfort in the Masai Mara. We had no preconceived ideas as to what to expect. but were very pleased with the choice of food and comfort of the rooms. The staff were very helpful at all times and our Safari Driver Dan was very eager to show us as many animals as possible during our stay! The room overlooked... More

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and taken into our room. It was very close to the restaurant. The windows of the room opened a beautiful panorama of the park separated by a river where lived a crocodile and hippos. One day there were seen 5 giraffes just going along the lodge. Rooms are quite big with a balcony to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during safari and enjoyed it hugely. We had super service and the waiters and staff were so friendly. The buffet meals offered great choice and the bar was well stocked with great choice. There is a river outside where we saw crocks, hippos and heard elephants thrashing during the night. We really had a... More

I stayed at Mara Simba Lodge for two nights. The place is really nice located in Masai Mara. The overall standard is good with average food. Our stay was really satisfying until we discovered that the cleaning staff had went through our luggage and stolen some things. If you decide to stay at Mara Simba Lodge be careful and lock... More

The Safari is great with the right driver but a huge warning is that we were stolen off many things during breakfast before leaving for check out parfymes ECT. The cleaning staff had gone through our bags which we unfortunately noticed after the departure. Beware and rethink before you book a stay here!
