A nice mixed shelter (tented with hard top roof and bathroom). The park is well maintained. We encountered only very helpful staff. Even a change of tents was taken care of without any problem. (It is a long walk to the tents at the edge of the park. If you are less mobile ask for a tent in the center).... More

The great attraction of this game lodge is just how close your tent is to the actual game. The tents themselves are magnificent. Hot water bottle in your bed while you are having dinner a nice touch. Food not as good as Lion Hill but everything else better. Also.....not the hotels fault but having radios in all the jeeps is... More

We recently stayed 2 nights in the tented camp at Masai Mari May 5 & 6 2012. At the time of our visit the Mara was very wet & boggy because of late wet season rains. Game was still plentifull. The Sarova was very enjoyable and we found the meals and service to be more than acceptable. Our Safari was booked... More

The Sarova Mara Camp was everything I have dreamed of and more! From the start I felt perfectly welcomed. Especially Geoffrey and Caroline in the reception were TERRIFIC! Friendly, personable and helpful they started my stay off perfectly with friendliness and a super great attitude! The lodge was astonishing - super beautiful - and the tents felt absolutely Out of... A great place right inside the Masai Mara reserve. Good hospitality and vegetarian friendly. The tents are comfortable. In some months it might get cold but it is enjoyable. The right option if you are going to Masai Mara.

Positives? - Excellent location (very near to park entrance) - Beautiful lush green property neatly tucked in to a small hill- completely hidden - Excellent service - Superb tents- Go for the club tents- they are located towards the edge of the premises. In November 2011 we went on a family trip to Kenya and spent a few days on safari. We were very impressed with the accommodation - the staff were all very helpful and courteous and the common areas (including the pool) were very clean. The food was delicious and there was a nice variety. We had a few vegetarians in... More

We stayed at the Game Camp for three nights in October. From the first moment when we arrived and were met by Caroline with drinks to the last sad good bye we had a fantastic time and have many happy memories. All the facilities, tents, pool, food and public areas are wonderful, but it is the kind, cheerful and always... More

As soon as we checked in till the check out, we enjoyed each bit of it. The road leading to the mara is quite uncomfortable, but as soon as we arrived we were given hot scented towels. The tents were quite clean and almost all amenities were made available. The electricity is switched off from 12 AM to 4 AM... More
