I had a really good weekend at Keekorok. The overall experience is good. I recommend this hotel for families, for Hippo-lovers, and for anybody who can find it priced competitively. The location is quite good and there is no doubt you will see the majestic animals you are looking for. Hippo Bar: This is an amazing perk. The hotel includes... more

We stayed at this lodge the past weekend which was a long weekend in Kenya so we got to spend 2 nights. The roads are 90% done so it took 3 hours 20 minutes from westlands to the reception in Keekorok including stops at Narok town as well as the park gate. This means its faster to go to Mara... more

Everything is perfect here! Amazing lodges (feel free to ask for a swap if you want to change view towards plains instead of pool). Incredibly thoughtful staff. For example: we were a bit late for breakfast, were walking about on the fine terrace outside restaurant. Restaurant staff approached us outside whether we still wanted to eat as they would otherwise... more

Absolutely no complaints. We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights in April. The rooms were very good and clean. We were well looked after, everyone was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were lucky in that there were only 4 people in our jeep and our driver/guide Charles was very helpful and informative. We saw everything... more

Very similar to the Samburu Game Lodge. Challets are very modern, clean and in excellent condition. Each room has excellent mosquito nets and remote control fans. As with most lodges the electricity goes off at midnight and doesn't come back on until 6am. Food here is excellent and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It has a great hippo... more

This was the third of our safari lodges but where we saw the fewest animals although we were told we see more here than anywhere. Enjoyable stay with lovely grounds, good rooms and enjoyable food. The hippo pool was a great addition and the staff were attentive and professional. Found the gift shop very expensive compared to other lodges and... more

I went in with high hopes based on reviews on TA, but I found this lodge to be quite average. The drivers/guides provided by the lodge are indifferent and unenthusiastic, the one assigned to us hardly spoke during the game drives and answered most questions in Yes or No. The driver who came in to receive us wasn't very different.... more

We spent three nights here to round off our safari. The room was excellent with views out across the Mara and wildlife often literally just outside the window or door! The birdlife in the grounds was fabulous and the hippo pool gave an excellent opportunity to view these enormous creatures at close quarters. Sometimes maybe a bit too close as... more

Stayed here on the frist 2 nights of our Safari with Pollman. We couldn't have asked for a better lodge to start our experience. The place is beautifull and well set out. The rooms are very well finished with nice African touches. Bed was great with excellant mosquito net, bathroom was good aso. Our room was facing the grassed area... more

Amazing! I've never before been to such an awsome hotel as this. The location was breathtaking, the scenery stunning and the animals, well they take your breath away. Keekorok is a fantastic lodge that provides it all, great food, great company and great settings. The rooms were perfect, very African. Overall I couldn't wish for anything better. My only moan... more
