I went to Wajee Mara mid Jan 2014, after the peak tourist season. Eric, I and a friend of his were the only people in the camp. We had a wonderful stay! The tents were well kept and included beds, bedding, hot water and flushing toilets! The crew was welcoming and attentive! The food was simple, but good.

I had a great time with my family. The rooms were really clean and tidy. The food was delicious and they were willing to make something that wasn't included in the menu. During our trip we went on a balloon safari and needed to wake up at 4 in the morning. Even though breakfast wasn't until 7:30 they had tea,... More

We spend 2 nights with Ken Mike & Phineas in Wajee Camp, Eric organised a wonderful driver, Maina, who drove us to the Mara in our own vehicle. We were greeted and welcomed by Ken Mike & Phineas and they couldn't do enough for us. We were in a deluxe tent with an ensuite, lots of hot water, the beds... More

I went on Safari with the Wajee Mara Camp Company at the beginning of May and it was a fantastic experience. The organiser/owner Eric was so helpful both before I went on the safari and during the trip. The camp itself is basic but comfortable. There is hot water for showers which is great. Beds are comfortable, I think mosquito... More

I had a wonderful time at the Wajee Mara Camp in April 2014. I spent 3 nights there and stayed in a standard tent for 2 nights and a luxury tent for 1 night. Both were very comfortable. The luxury tents are great, because they are ensuite, which I think is worthwhile especially if you are travelling with children. The... More

Our first trip to the Mara and Wajee Mara camp was awesome. Very clean and friendly environment. Sleeping in the wilderness and yet you feel safe and secure. The kids had a lovely time running around the spacious compound. We'll definitely go back there!

Wajee camp is situated at a very serene place, even though outside the park, it offers some of the best amenities Mara has to offer. I loved the excellent service, the good food, comfortable facilities, would recommend the deluxe tents any time. And i would return there any chance I have. And the host, Eric, the most welcoming and accommodating... More

I'm going to start this review with the positives; and there are many. We (4 adults) were collected from our hotel in Nairobi by Solomon, who was to be our driver and guide for the duration of our trip. The drive was about 4.5 hours (this will depend on the volume of traffic in Nairobi), with about 2 hours spent... More
