The location, the set up, the ambience, the team, the service, the food and wide variety of drinks was superb. Service was excellent, the staff are very polite and welcoming, our tour guide executed to perfection. The bush dinner and breakfast was awesome, and the surprise during our anniversary was very much welcome...Rooms are very clean and tidy.....keep up the... More

Steeped along the hillside, the peaks of Mahali Mzuri showed their presence like none other than what I've come to expect from Sir Richard Branson. As we drove up the rugged rock road, we came upon this modern structure in the midst of the bush. It is quite different from most of the properties, in the way it looks and... More

Stayed here two nights with my group, including "Safari" Kay from Destined to Travel, who booked this fantastic property. It was very hard to leave. Upon arrival, there is a welcome "surprise". They have game drives in the AM and then in the afternoon. There happened to be a local market one of the days that we were there, and... More

I don't actually know where to start with this review after 5 nights here... Mahali Mzuri translated literally means beautiful place - I'm not sure there could be a better name as the outlook from the camp is simply breathtaking. From arrival to departure everything was taken care of - we could not have asked for more. The tents were... More

We have just arrived in Watamu after three nights at Mahali Mzuri. We are staying in a fabulous hotel but as I sit here writing this review I am wondering whether I dreamt the most magical experience of our stay in the Mara. I have just read some of the other reviews of past guests at Mahali Mzuri and realise... More

This place is jaw dropping, the view never stopped amazing me from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. I have never felt emotional at the end of a holiday but this place had me in tears when we left! We could not fault anything about this place. The staff, service, rooms, pool, bar, food and game drives... More

This was my first safari and the first stop of our 2 week holiday, don’t go any further – just stay here. We had four nights here and they were wonderful. Forget sell your shirt – sell everything to get here. The staff do everything possible to make your stay as marvellous as it could be. We saw 4 of... More

This was our first safari, and was the first leg of a honeymoon, so we wanted this to be special. We landed by light aircraft at Mara North and were met by Betty with champagne on the bonnet of the Land Cruiser. Betty was our guide for five days and showed us 4/5 of the big five (not many Rhinos... More

I spent 2 nights at Mahali Mzuri and it really wasn’t enough. The care that the staff gave me, from Alex who welcomed us back to camp each day with a cool cloth to wipe off the dust, to Lan who was such a gracious hostess, and the rest of the team, each of who knew my name, it was... More

Cant give enough credit to this establishment. Accommodation and service is excellent. Who would think in the middle of the Mara, everything one requested was available. Really go out of their way to give you a unique experience. Food and wine excellent, no timetable like on ordinary safaris, if you see something unusual they will stay with it for as... More
