My wife and I stayed at the Mara Intrepids Club for 4 nights. We wanted to go somewhere special for our honeymoon and this place was definately that. The staff made us feel so welcome from the very first moment we arrived. The camp has its very own airstrip which means it is literally a 1 minute drive into the... more

Four of us travelled here last in June 2008 for my 50th birthday; before arrival here we had been to Samburu Intrepids and Naivasha Lodge/Golf complex. We were on a flying safari; highly recommended for speed, for example on one day we had breakfast in Naivasha, a boat trip on a hippo/bird populated lake, lunch, flight to Mara and afternoon... more

This is our fourth stay at Mara Intrepids and, once again, we were greeted like old friends. We had a brilliant guide - Sammy - who always seemed to have us in the right place for seeing amazing game. Every drive was filled with excitement . We saw everything including leopard cubs, lion cubs, elephants and even managed to see... more

food was good, in a good location right beside the mara river. animals were grazing etc just outside camp entrance. our safari guide james was full of knowledge about the animals and birds. even went out of his way to try to find the elusive rhino. more

We stayed for 6 nights at Mara Intrepids in December 2008/January 2009 and we had a great time there as we always have. The camp, tented accomodation and the service are all excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The safari guides are very good and knowledgable and the game viewing was excellent. We booked sole use of the... more

A superb family safari in the Masai Mara. We saw every animal possible with a great guide and the staff were super in taking care of our every need. Luxurious tents and accommodation, without being over the top and too perfect. Good food and great service. Special mention to Joseph the local naturalist and Masai representative at the camp who... more

Although Mara Intrepids was slightly less "fresh" than the Samburu Intrepids, it was nonetheless, a wonderful place to stay. The "tents" are clean and comfortable, beds are firm and comfortable but all is showing a bit of wear, but not too bad. Food was a click or two better than Samburu Intrepids. The game drive guides are fantastically knowledgeable and... more

We took our honeymoon in October 2008 with Neo Destinations to Kenya and cannot commend this firm highly enough. They really went out of their way to make our trip memorable by going out of their way to accomodate us in every sense. Due to our general disorganisation we did not book until 2 weeks beforehand but they were accommodating... more

We booked our stay at Mara Intrepids through Lets Go Travel in Nairobi. Flying in was the ideal way to arrive as the airstrip is just beside Mara Intrepids. Our tent was excellent - No 3 - right by the river, and very spacious and clean, with a v comfy bed and nice bathroom. But it's all about the game... more
