Mara Serena Safari Lodge is situated in an excellent location within the Masai Mara Reserve. Rooms are tasteful and clean. We flew in to the Mara and went straight to the lodge for lunch. It is in a very impressive position on a ridge overlooking the Mara with all the rooms having magnificant views. Perched on a hill you have sweeping views of the park. Wilderbeast to be seen across the landscape. Serena is strategically situated near 2 major migration crossing points on the Mara river. Missed a crossing though. The rooms are fairly comfortable, we expected them to be very cramped based on some TA reviews and were hence not disappointed.
