Our suite was fantastic, the toiletries were quality, the food was of great selection every day which is a rare treat if you are a vegetarian. The pool we found was very deep and cold, not really the type of pool to lounge in. The spa was really nice, everyone from guest services, to reception to waiters were warm, welcoming and... More

This was the least favorite of the 3 Serena lodges I stayed in on my trip, as the rooms were overcrowded (3 beds packed into a small space), and there was no ventilation. There is a small window in the bathroom, and the sliding doors at the other end. Problem is, there is no screens on the doors, so you... More

Truly Hope I get to go back to the Mara Serena one day... I don't get a chance to review every place I have stayed around the world - but I tell you this - Mara Serena is one of my FAVORITE spots! I have such good memories of this "lodge." We stayed here what seemed like forever but was... More

Exceptional place - great views from the top and from the rooms. Lots of variety in food And great service. We were 2 couples staying at this property for 2 days and had a great time enjoying the wildlife and the exceptional hospitality provided at Mara Serena Logde. The three meals are very well looked after and they have a... More

Great view from the top. Warm welcome from the hall to the room. Layout is wonderful. The rooms are like coming out from fairy tales. I always had a feeling that Elfes would jump out from nowhere!!! lol... Diner is great! Stuff were dancing and singing: jumbo, jumbo bwana, habari gari, muzuri sana, wageni, waganibishwa, kenya yetu, hakuna, matata...I don't... More

The biggest dissapointment of this hotel is that it is nestled in the mara triangle which is only about 1/3 the area of the mara. But thats not to say you wont see wildlife. There are game parks and then there is the mara. The hotel is pretty decor is authentic massai. The rooms are nice with a faitly decent... More

Finished our safari with two nights at the resort. Disembarking the Landcruiser you are simply gobsmacked at the view through the reception hall and out the floor to ceiling glass windows on to the plain below. Nice rooms with astounding views from the top of this hill on to the river and savanne. Friendly staff and an atmosphere of "the... More

As you enter the resort and into the Lobby, you are spell bound by the views of the plains. A great hotel in the middle of the mara triangle. It does take close to 2 hours of drive almost from the entrance of the mara national park to get here but the hotel is totally worth it. Close to the... More

We stayed for two nights at this hotel in this October. The view of African savannah is incredible from the hotel's outdoor places and many of the rooms. Food is not bad. Rooms are big and clean enough. But do not ever leave your money or valuable things unlocked in the rooms! Experience talks! And they don't bother with your... More

The place is quirky and from the outside doesn't seem great but as soon as you enter....from the hall there is a breathtaking view of the Masai Mara. The rooms are small but comfy and the personnel very attent and nice. There is a gym with spa and you can run looking at the valley, one of the best indoors... More
