Stayed there for 2 nights, 4 game drives and one night time game drive which was interesting. Also booked and had a hot air balloon trip with outdoor breakfast which was spectacular, i highly recommend it. Rooms are very original, the whole layout, location and views are great. Food was not extraordinary, but still some of the best we had... More

Spent 2 nights at the Mara with 4 game drives. The rooms are small and intimate, but very comfortable. All rooms have clear view to the river where you can spot animals through the whole day.View is espacially great at sunrise over the vast Mara plains. Meals were fine , large variety and well served. An amazing experience. The rooms are simple but comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful and the safaris are just incredible. You can join 2-3 trips a day, at dawn, in the afternoon and early evening depends on your stamina! Entertainment is fun, nothing too exciting but still wonderful. A trip to the Masai village is... Mara Serena turned out to be as per our expectations from descriptions and reviews. The views were better than expected. The sun's first light at 6 AM, the vast plains and the Mara river below all contribute to the special feeling of being in the Mara, Check in, restaurants, house keeping, check out staff and services were all top class.... Just returned from a 7 night stay here. It is ideally situated in the Mara Triangle and the roads this side of the Mara River are so much better. The Lodge is awesome, the rooms are spacious and have all the things you could ask for. Most importantly they are kept clean by the attentative staff there and the views... More

Wonderful experience' friendly staff, comfortable beds, great safari rides, good food, my only regret not staying longer The hotel itself offers a safari on its own, just by seating by the pool ,curious animals will come around you, the location on a cliff give breathtaking views. Keep your cameras charged and eyes wide open.

I recently took a safari photo adventure with my Son to Kenya. This was the last place we stayed at on our 10 day adventure. To say the least, it was a fantastic place to have closed out our trip to Kenya. The lodge is located very close to the Mara Mari River. The facility was fantastic in so many... More

My wife and I spent two nights in March 2013 at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge while on a small group safari. This lodge is dramatically situated on a high tree-covered ridge above the tall grass savannah of the Masai Mara Reserve. If I could, I would give the location six stars! The design and decoration of the ultramodern rooms... More

We stayed here during our Christmas vacation in 2012. Even though it is an old hotel, my family and I had the most amazing time at this hotel. We loved waking up at the crack of dawn to go on safari and loved coming back to our home away from home. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating! The... More

One of the best places deep in the Masai territory, and very close to the Mara river. Very well located - close to airstrip where you get spectacular sunset views. Wildlife starts literally at the gate! Spectacularly perched on a hilltop, you can see the usual suspects with a good binoculars. The rooms are shaped in a semicircle - the... More
