This is an affrordable well tented camp. Tents are clean, soft bed, available hot water morning and evening. We had small children (2ryr) and hot milk was provide for us which we stored in our flasks for the kids for later in the night. Carry a flash light for when lights are switched off. Janet the receptionist was amazing. Out... More

This is a basic camp. Tent and attached bathroom with soft mattresses and 24 hour hot water supply. Electricity is available 5.30-7 in morning and 7.30-10.30 in night. The property is extremely serene and beautiful and very close to Masaai mara gate and masaai villages. Food is excellent home -cooked with enough vegetarian options. There is bonfire in night as... We had a great time at Mara Sidai camp! The property is absolutely beautiful-there are lots of trees and flowers. The power goes out at 10, which was not a problem for us since we had early game drives in the morning! This was actually a very good thing-since the camp was dark, the stars were shining bright! The tents... More

Greate budget Camp! We've stayed here for 2 nights in May 2015. Despite not very good weather we spent beautiful time here. Comfortable tents with all you need inside. Hot water by schedule every day in the evening and morning, the same as electricity. Well served dinning room with bar. Baboons on the territory :-) Not far from the Maasai... More

The camp is beautiful. The tents are basic. Bathroom is Claustrophobic. Beds are clean and comfortable. Food is good enough.Generator is on from 6 am to 7.30 am and 7.30 pm to 10 pm- thats when you get to charge camera and phone and get warm water to bathe. Overall not a bad place to stay for couple of nights.

We had read a lot about this camp with mixed reviews so went with low expectations. The staff were lovely, particularly the operations manager Charity, who helped with anything we needed and checked on us daily, including arranging a replacement mosquito net as ours had come un-stitched. The rooms however were disappointing despite budget expectations, the tents are old and... More

Simple but comfortable and nice camp very close to the gate to Masai Mara Reserve. Just the beds might be longer :-) The food was good and all the staff very friendly. Just the surrounding of the camp with all the rubbish is sad.

If you want luxury, spend more and go somewhere else. However, I am a budget traveller and have stayed in many budget locations throughout the world, plus do lots of camping at home. I was quite pleased with the lodgings. They suited my basic needs and were clean enough for me (I can be somewhat picky about that!). There was... More

If you are seeking a safari from a budget camp then this is one of the best. Unfortunately, too many people compare this camp to one that costs two to three times more a night. You must keep this in mind when you read reviews. Mara Sidai is quite clear that this is a budget camp, therefore, it ranks high... More

Initially we were quite sceptic of this place, as it was ranked at #92 of 97 camp in Tripadvisor at Masai Mara area. Having been on hiking expeditions and camping in reserved forests etc, I would not have so much of problem but I'm quite worried about my children's wellbeing as this is their first experience in such nature and...
