I never liked zebras because zebras are so common. You have seen one and you have seen them all. But we listened to Johnson Ngila of Enkewa Mara Camp for 15 minutes as he exploded with passion about the unique, one-of-a-kind patterns and point out the intricate swirls and colours on the zebras. We sat and watched as he gazed... More

Second time with them. This time in Enkewa Bush Camp. The best thing bout the Enkewa experience is that they make sure to take you on safari ensuring that you will see the animals mostly alone, with no other cars around you. To people who has done safaris (and I live in Kenya since 4 years ago) this is a... More

Came to Enkewa at the recommendation of friends, and we were absolutely blown away by the hospitality, knowledge and passion of the people who make this camp their home, and ours while we were there. We came with no particular 'list' of things we wanted to do or see, but our guide and tracker ensured that we got to see... More

My husband and I stayed at the camp for 3 nights in the beginning of June, two nights at the bush camp and one night at the main camp. The accommodation was great. Spacious and clean tents. The food was excellent. The game drives were over the top. It is the staff and the guides that make this place truly... More

If there is one thing that is common amongst the best boutique properties across the globe, it is the pedigree of people who run them. Enkewa Mara Camp & Enkewa Bush Camps are run by two warm hearted & sincere people who make it almost impossible for things to go wrong. Being the habitual off season travelers, my wife &... More

I stayed here for four days over New Year with my wife and three children (aged 7, 4 and 2). My main concern before booking a safari holiday was to ensure we could get a camp that could accommodate young children, particularly having our own vehicle for game drives, as we needed flexibility and also didn't want to be spoiling... Have been living in Nairobi for almost a year and hadn't been in the Mara.. decided to go for Easter.. Stayed at the Enkewa Mara camp, which is simply excellent. Luxurious, tasteful, rustic, friendly environment.. personalized service, excellent food.. magical! In addition to the amazing scenery... forest, animals, sunset.. the best part of Enkewa camp are their people: managers ,... More

This time we went to Enkewa Bush Camp, rustic luxury inside the park, in the very best area for spotting game...we had 3 of the last black rhino on the vicinity and could actually see them from the Camp. As always, a great Mara experience!

Definitely recommended for an all-around great experience. The guides and owners are great and you get an intimate feel because of the small size. Bush camp and Enkewa both are like small oasis in the Mara, and that is saying a lot considering how beautiful the Mara is. Bush camp is surrounded by palm trees and is a short distance... More

One of my dreams was to discover Africa, to be able to see my favorite animals in the wild. During the games we run through amazing places, I discover landscapes I never thought it exist in Africa. The Enkewa people know every single stone, every single path, every animal. Their spotters are incredible, we saw all the big five including... More
