What I loved most about Sentrim was that I had no expectations and was pleasantly suprised with the culinary skills of the Chef (kudos) and the service from the waiters (Especially David) and room attendants. The tented cottages are simple and comfortable. However I feel with a little more color and decor in the rooms, reception and restaurant areas...it will... More

Sentrim had a special offer and so I went there with the family. Nothing to write home about. Food mediocre. Service mediocre. Rooms not so good. The first room I was given did not have any hot water. The second one had the lights coming and going thru the night. The third one the wash basin was clogged so the... More

Very cozy tent cottages just a very short drive from the Maasai village and the start of your game drive. They have power in the morning and evening for lights and charging gadgets. Recommend bringing a 3 into 1 plug as there is usually only 1 outlet available. The food is tasty, the beer is cold, and the staff is... More

After seeing the other camps on the drive to Masai Mara I was not expecting much more than a simple tent. I'm very happy to say that I was wrong! Sentrim is such a wonderful place to stay and is absolutely beautiful. It is a "glamping" experience. Our tent/lodge had three large beds and a porch to sit on in... More

The lodge has a number of cottages and tents around the fenced property. The experience is actually a very novel one, as it is a raised frame structure with a tent underneath. The tent concept works quiet well as it seals the inside away from the mosquitoes in the evening. For double safety against them, an attendant comes in every... More

After my rather basic safari accomodations I almost didn't find words for this place. Got a huge house/tent for myself with a balcony and views over the hills, facing east,so you can admire the sunrise. Huge room, huge bathroom with hot shower,a safe, mosquito nets and water heater for brewing fresh coffee in the morning. Onsite restaurant offers a bit of everything (breakfast,lunch,dinner,all... The Lodge has cottages on wooden stilts. The front doors have locks, but the rears have zipped canvas, so didn't see the logic in this. Take a cottage near the dining area despite the noise nuisance. Rooms are big. Double bedroom has 2 beds with mosquito nets, dresser, washroom with 2 washbasins and a shower. Though rooms have sit outs,... More

Stayed in Room No. 1. It was a tent, built on a raised concrete platform. First the positives : The beds were comfy. The basics were provided. Service of the entire staff was excellent. They had good Indian food & an excellent Caramel Custard! Now the negatives : The Hotel is located in the hills & is a 10 min... More

We had the first hut to the left as you face the main building. Our room was minimum. The bed and space were fine, but the bathroom as very rough. However, the worst part was there were many bees in the room. We came back from a game drive, and there were probably 75 dead bees in the shower. Additionally,... More
