My daughter and I stayed at Kigio Wildlife Camp in August of 2009. The grounds are so natural and beautiful. You really get a true feeling of being on a safari. The cottage that we stayed in was the nicest cottage I have ever stayed in. It was very large with two double beds and a sitting area combined in one room. One side of the room had 5 large bay size screened windows with flaps that came down at night. Or you could leave the flaps up and look out at any animal visitors you might receive. You could walk out onto a deck that overlooked the ravine and small river below. We were on a 7 day safari and this was by far the best stay and the food was superior. My compliments to the chef especially on the home made soups. We felt totally safe here the staff would walk you over to the restaurant and back for your meals. I also would like to compliment them on being environmentally friendly. The hot water bottle in our bed at nighttime was a great touch. Thank you to the staff... more
