I stayed two nights at ol moran tented camp and only have good things to say about the place! The food is delicious (especially the panncakes) and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. You stay in tents with your own bathroom attached to it, but frankly the tents are more like real houses, so if you want to go... More

Ol Moran tented camp is great. Nice little tented rooms, dotted across a landscaped garden. Nice big common area, with a lounge and a dining room. Well stocked bar, with very reasonably priced drinks. Decent dinner, and excellent omeletes for breakfast. Only complaint is the lack of hot water, but then again, with limited electricity, it might be too much... More

When we booked a safari to visit the maasai mara, we were told we would sleep in a tented camp. At first we were a bit skeptical being the first time to sleep in tent. However when we arrived at the olmoran tented all this changed. First, at the spacious lounge we were met by very friendly and welcoming staff... More

Good tented camp, no doubt about it. The tent is not beautiful, but it's clean and comfortable. The restaurant area is nice and the staff is very good. Just one problem one day: the generator was working from 1 to 3 am, and it was very noisy. For the rest, everything perfect.

I hereby thank Vidalson and all others clients who have reviewed our camp on this highly respected site. We did take Widalson review very seriously and the camp is undergoing refurbishment of the tents in addition to putting up more luxurious one"s. As for issue of the generator running almost the whole night we do Apologise for not having informed... More

We spent a peaceful night and great game drive day in this camp situated a kilometer from Masai Mara's Ololaimutiek Gate. The very pumpy road and the roadsides to the camp area (there are several camp sites nearby) are tanged with plastic bags and other waste. The reason is the chaotically growing village near the Park's gate. Never-the-less our camp... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a package arranged by Natural World Tours and Safaris Mombasa (see separate review) and what a wonderful experience it was. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and as it was slightly off season there were only a few other guests and we had almost one to one service. We really enjoyed... More

If you are looking for a better-than-budget camp, check this property out. I've stayed at Acacia Camp and Mara Sidai, and this one is a few steps above. The tents are spacious and the bathrooms are great... large shower and very hot water. The beds are comfortable, and extra blankets are provided, if necessary. Beware of the resident monkeys -... We stayed two nights in the camp. We were expecting to enter into a luxury tented camp, inside the Masai Mara as mentionned on their web site but it is completely wrong. There is no reception, no boutique, no animation (for example, on their web site, they mentionned traditional masai Dance, not seen during our two days/nights, balloon safari idem,... More

i was initially sceptical about staying in a tent, but was pleasantly surprised. this is a great option for those who prefer a slightly more rustic experience (or want to avoid expensive hotel costs) but still want a clean, comfortable place to stay. in our tent the bathroom was nice and clean, the hot water plentiful, the bedding new and...
