it is nice to stay in a place like a tented camp instead of a building, feel more like in the wild. They provide self-serviced meals which are the most delicious food I had in Kenya, especially the spaghetti with meat-ball!!! Chef YumYum create many excellent yummy sauce!! Basically it is safe and all the staff are very nice and... More

Great tents to complement your safari experience; has all the basic amenities you need plus great food. I can't rave enough on how courteous, accommodating and friendly all the staff are, would definitely stay here again.

This was a pleasent tented camp experience just outside of the Masai Mara game reserve. After a long and bumpy drive down the roads leading to the camp, we were met by the staff with drinks and warm towels. We were initally led to the basic tents, but then were given a complimentary upgrade to the luxuary tents so we... More

This is a nice basic tented camp, good tent, covered with a hard roof, electric lights, after dark and in the early a.m. nice beds, simple bathroom and shower, clean concrete floor. you need to let the water run to get to the hot stuff. I have stayed in tented camps where you needed to walk to the toilet and showers.... More

When u want to experience a tent, you would first be reluctant to try the same coz u are not sure about the cleanliness, the food, the water....I was suggested by a few colleagues to try out the 5 star experience of Stanley Maara but ofcourse that comes with a price; so after a let of coaxing from our travel... I stayed at Ol-moran for 2 nights with my mom on a trip to visit the Masai Mara. This place is just what you need: It's right outside the gate to enter the game park. It's eco-friendly because they only turn the electricity on in the mornings and evenings. The food is nice, and the service is very friendly. I... More

After having visited a few other tented camps in Kenya, this was a nice experience. A simple buffet with delicious food, friendly staff, well-maintained rooms (tents if you wish). The beautiful Masai Mara park is a few minutes drive away. Only the road to the camp could be better.

At first we didn't know what to expect cause it was our first time to stay in a tented camp, but when we got there we were amazed first we were welcomed with cold juice, the service was excellent with friendly staff, the rooms where neat tidy, the tents are surrounded with beautiful flowers, they have the best chef especially... I did a month in Kenya and Tanzania, mostly at luxury resort. This was the only tented camp we stayed at but it was excellent. Food was great, host were very nice and the Masi Mara park was definitely a highlight of the trip.
