I highly recommend Oldarpoi Maasai Safari Camp. We wanted an authentic, yet comfortable safari experience in the Maasai Mara and we found it here. The service was excellent, the food was delicious (note: wine and beer are extra), and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable. We saw every animal we wished to see and got very close to them as well!... More

Great location. Beautiful landscapes to look at. Great, friendly, and attentive Maasai staff. The food is the best thanks to great cooks, Willie and Isaac. The accomodations were comfortable and wonderful. Enjoyed staying here for many reasons, including an important one = it gives back to the Maasai community and children.

After a lot of searching and reviewing, we decided to book this camp for our stay in the mara and hook up with Nelson as our guide. That was the best decision we made for it practically ensured us an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. We were received by Nelson at the J Kenyatta Int Airport, Nairobi at the exact... More

I stayed at Oldarpoi Camp with my two teenage children for three nights. We had a fabulous time. Nelson and his crew were welcoming and always helpful. The tents and beds were clean and comfortable - and had bathrooms with hot showers! I really enjoyed the homey atmosphere - family-style dinners and delicious food. They were also very accommodating to... More

My daughter, her fiance and I spent a wonderful three days at Oldarpoi Maasai Safari Camp. Nelson, our stupendous guide, picked us up at the Nairobi airport and took us to our hotel in the Westlands. The next day we headed for the camp and the Mara. The camp is very peaceful compared to the noise of the city. The... More

Outstanding hospitality offered by the camp people. Our main Guide Nelson (Mussouri, that is his real Masai Name) and Steve (Thuramberia...original name) our driver made it a memorable holiday. Not just a holiday, it was like an educational tour because of sound knowledge of both of them about Kenya, its wild life and animal behavior. He (Nelson) is well read... More

We spent three nights at this wonderful, friendly camp. The accomodation was comfortable and well serviced. The staff from the local Maasai village were very attentive and caring while at the same time maintaining an air of real friendliness without servility. Well done to them. Thank you Oldarpoi you made our trip to the Mara all the more memorable

It was only two nights but the memories will last a lifetime. Oldarpoi is the most unique "camp" in the Maasai Mara. The camp, the accomodation, staff and food went beyond my expectations....friendly, courteous, helpfull, comfortable....The Safari in the Mara was the experience of a Lifetime but the other elements of the visit were even more memorable. Just seeing how... More

The oldarpoi Mara Camp is a really, really nice camp. The location is just superb, you walk out of your tent and see the savanna just stretching out in front of you. The tents are very good, the water is actually hot, beds are fine. But most of all the people are really friendly and very interesting, since they are... More

Oldarpoi is set into a hillside with fantastic views to the east and a short 10minute ride to the seregeti entrance into the Maasai Mara national park. Setup and run by locals it provides a variety of activities within and outside of the national park. The campsite has all basic amenities and the food is wholesome and hearty. Hyenas could... More
