We stayed at Ilkeliani for 4 nights at the beginning of September and we were met at the airstrip by Edward, our excellent guide, who took us on a game drive en route to the camp - a good taster of what we had to come. When we arrived, we crossed the bridge and were greeted by welcoming staff. The... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Ilkeliani tented camp during our Masai Mara safari. The tents are large, spacious and clean. Each evening, while guests are at dinner, an attendant came and sprayed the tent with bug spray and provided turn down service. Also, they had Masai men along the paths to ensure guest safety (there is a hippo that... More

Absolutely perfect in every way, this tented camp provided us with a relaxing and comfortable base for our Masai Mara safari adventures. The tents are fabulous and very spacious with fine bathrooms and very comfortable beds, and you are right on the river. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Exceeded our expectations! We didn't want to leave!!

We stayed at two camps on our visit – this one being the less expensive of the two – the other being the Kitchwa Tempo tented camp. To be honest I think we preferred this one. I think the only reason this camp is not higher on the list is that not many Europeans can remember / or pronounce the... More

I went with a group of 15 last month, and it was one of the best experiences of my life! The camp is so nice, and the staff is wonderful. We were in such good hands, and were able to get to know some of the people that worked there. They were very friendly and open, especially the manager, Charles.... More

Can't say enough about the experience at this camp. Beautiful, spotless, excellent service, comfortable rooms, hot water in the bathrooms. Waking up at 5.30am to birds and nature sounds and coffee delivered to your tent - amazing. Location is perfect for so many of the gamedrives we did. Food was very high quality and reasonable. They accomodated many of the... More

Now I don't camp. Closest to it is a two star hotel. So they said it's not camping - and it isn't. After a couple of nights up at Lake Nakuru the journey to the Mara is itself an adventure. perhaps I'll fly next time, because there will be a next time. As with all of Kenya the word Karibu... More

We stayed at West 6 from Sept.14 to 16, 2013. We were welcome by Joel and Joice. Staffs were very kind and friendly, and we felt very safe and special when we were escorted by Masai nightgurads. We woke up with charping birds and enjoyed breakfast watching baboons on the other side of the river. I wish I could visit... More

We were met at the camp by staff and escorted over the bridge into the camp. We were then greeted by Wilson with a cold wet flannel and a cold drink before being escorted to our tents west 8 & 9. We then went on an afternoon safari at 4pm with Daniel retuning for pre dinner drinks and dinner at... More

We were a group of six friends and opted to fly into the Mara rather than drive . We were met by Edward a charming Masai driver guide who met us at the aircraft and helped carry our luggage. The drive to the camp was an experience and saw herds of gnus , elephants and female lion under a tree... More
