I stayed at this camp for 3 nights with my husband for our honeymoon after climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and we loved every minute of it! The grounds, the entire staff, the food, and the game drives exceeded our expectations! The grounds are very well maintained and eco friendly. The main lodge and outdoor seating area overlook the river, where we'd... More

Gorgeous location - near a river used as water hole by tens of wildlife that were gathering on the opposite side of the camp every day. We'd have lunch watching giraffes, elephants, zebra, hippos, various monkeys. Each tent is tucked in to offer privacy and inside it's elegant and luxurious. The service is impeccable and the guides are very knowledgeable.... More

Superb in every way. This was our 3rd camp on a 13 day safari after already visiting Ngorongoro & The Serengeti (also amazing but very different). We loved the tents, spacious, very private & very comfortable. The bed was fantastic & nights were so quiet even being surrounded by so much wildlife. Food & service we could not fault and... More

We had a wonderful visit here. At the top of the pluses is that we saw a terrific selection of wildlife, including a dozen or so lions & 2 cheetahs! The staff was very professional & accommodating & our guide, Peter, was very good. Our one criticism is that when we asked if we could visit a Maasai village, we... More

I cannot speak highly enough of this camp! The setting on the Mara River is spectacular, armchair game viewing from the riverfront lawn. The African style building which houses the restaurant and bar has charm and character. The staff cannot do enough to please and seem very happy in their role to do so. The food was excellent and plenty... More

Recently spent 10 days at Karen Blixen Camp in the Maasai Mara and the the place is wonderful. The staff are attentive and do everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. The lodge is nicely laid out, and all of the rooms are along the Mara River, which makes for nice trnquil evenings and nights, plus the views... More

It's hard to make any comments because everything was just perfect. The staff go out of their way to be so friendly and so helpful. The accommodation is delightful and so tastefully done. Previous room comments have been about far some of the tents are and I concur... They are a hike! Quite amazing to see fresh lion paw prints... More

Thank you to the staff at this hotel and Joseph our APT guide for providing us with a lovely end to our five week tour of Africa. Our camp facilities were good, the food was plentiful and the staff in the foyer and at the restaurant were always friendly and helpful. The lady in the gift shop was so sweet... More

We, a family of 4, stayed 3 nights at Karen Blixen Camp and had a fantastic experience. The location was fabulous, just eating lunch was a safari in it self. Hippos bathing in the river, elephants, giraffes zebra and impalas came down to the river to eat and drink. The rooms\tents were very nice, the food was good and a... More

right from pickup at the border to the drop off at the airstrip, it was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Nicholas, friendly, knowledgable, and clearly proud to show us around and share his homeland. the animals were almost too many to list, elephants, cheetah, hyena, lions, leapard.... the location of the camp on the riverbend overlooking the hippos and any...
