We booked this through an agent (Lamu Retreats) from Nairobi. We stupidly enough pre-paid (we had to) and judging from the images on their web-site we were prepared to arrive at a hostel/house located near or on the beach, quiet surroundings, nice food etc etc Banana House is not even remotely close to the beach - there is no restaurant... more
