This hotel is overpriced, the rooms a not very big, the tv got limited number of channels, convenient but not good for those travelling to Tanzania via Tanzanian shuttles, this hotel is situated a few meters away from university of Nairobi at least when you get lost you can always get the direction using the university as a landmark

The reception area is tiny and looks very doggy. The budget rooms are tiny, run down and outright dangerous (e.g. plug point dangling from the wall with live wires). We asked to see their Standard and Superior rooms. Standard rooms are slightly larger than Budget rooms and feature a tiny tv with some 3-5 channels. Superior rooms are sizably bigger... More

The tight space they call lobby was tore down when I arrived and it was a war zone. Dust, debris, sound, no computers to access -what a mess. Well, one can say it was only 'renovation' and it is over. The point is I was not given idea bout it. The second thing very poor or not response to email... More

Great location (cafes, supermarket, sights, shuttle to Tanzania), friendly staff, clean, cool, safe room with nets, toilet and hot shower. Great bonus a sauna and nice balcony in the restaurant. Light sleepers might want to ask a room not from street side.

I totally agree with alain p... This hotel is well situated, with very nice people, but the standard of the hotel is nothing special. No television, no airconditionning, no comfort, no dustbins and very noisy... Not a good deal.. The restaurant is open 24h a day, but at 11pm don't be difficult... I convinced them to make me a small... More

I have been at this hotel thrice, the price is affordable for those who have normal income. The hotel is clean staff are good, hot water through out the night but i recommend they should let visitors leave the premises from 11am

I asked the hotel to pick me up at the airport and send me to the airport after the stay. It cost me USD56 for the pick-up at the Jomo International airport to take me to the hotel and send me to the airport after the stay at the hotel. I was in Nairobi last month and this hotel was recommended to me by a lot of websites so I just booked it. Spent 50$ for a small room that was the same size of a tuna can and yes literally a tuna can, but I gotta be honest the staff were so friendly and nice, but value to money... More

Thank you very much for posting a comment regarding your stay with us. Just to be precise, the rate of USD 50 includes taxes which are about 23% and also include other costs fixed and variables just to mention. In due consideration the price is very competitive and has not increased for the past two years. Harassment may be handled... More
