We travelled for 3 weeks in Tanzania and Kenya last year with our twin boys at the age of 3. We generally stayed at 3-4 star hotels but Kikuyu Lodge was our favourite of all the places we stayed. The reason we liked it so much was the friendliness and helpfulness of Trevor and Hannah who both made us feel... More

It is great for us to know our former guests have happy memories of their stay with us and very motivating for the staff. We all know that holidays are a special time for our guests and try to make their trip run as smoothly and as satisfying as possible. Many thanks. More

Kikuyu - home away from home! Myself and two friends are on a 8month scooter trip, all the way from Cape Town to Dublin. Two and a half months into our trip we stayed at Kikuyu lodge and it felt like we were visiting old friends. Thank you for the great accommodation and food, I definitely recommend Kikuyu lodge. Hope... More

We stayed for several nights and used the Lodge as a base. We were extremely well looked after as a pensioner couple looking for both rest and excursions. Trevor arranged what ever transport was needed and sorted out any difficulties. Hannah cooked great meals, both local and international and covered all other housekeeping arrangements. This is more like sharing someone's... More

It is always a pleasure to meet guests and find out about their particular interest. Laurie and his wife were well travelled in Africa and their interest in bird watching is shared by some of our contacts here in Nairobi. It was nice for us that they had good safaris around the country but also that they found so many... More

I am nearing the end of a 3-week stay at the Kikuyu Lodge, and this is the second time that I have stayed here. I traveled here with a small missions team (World Impact Network) on both occaisions, and I want to say that Trevor and his staff (particularly Hannah) go out of their way to make your stay pleasant... It is always a pleasure to meet the individual requirement of guests, whether it be tourists, business or those visiting to assist in local development and training. We are all delighted that this trip was successful and thank Fred for his words of appreciation and the work that was done in the nearby villages and community. More

We were on a two week self drive safari. Trevor's contacts in sorting a 4X4, his local knowledge, and willingness to help, with everything from loaning us spare fuel cans, tools, and his personal Sat' Nav', to advice on routes, made our holiday in Kenya the best to date. Staying at the Kikuyu Lodge Hotel is not the sterile, insulating... More

My family and friends (8 people in total) stayed in Kikuyu Lodge for 1 night after our arrival in Nairobi and before departing for Safari. We love the room, garden, food, and everything at the Lodge! The only setback is that the shower in our room has very small water flow but anyway we do not need a waterfall:)

Our family of two adults and two teenaged children stayed for two nights en route to Naivasha and Nakuru, for which Kikuyu lodge is ideally situated. The ensuite rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and the food, cooked by Hannah, was plentiful and delicious. However, it is Trevor's thoughtfulness and hospitality that add significant value to Kikuyu lodge. His capable... More

Trevor was extremely helpful in arranging my internal travel and bookings in Kenya. What impressed me was his prompt email replies to my many questions and requests. Friendly Hannah looked after me very well with her cooked dinners and breakfast. The KLH provided a homely escape from the bedlam of Nairobi traffic.
