As with nearly everyone else, I stayed on day one of my Intrepid tour. The bed was comfortable (for a twin). The TV in the room was old and boxy (I didn't actually watch any tv so I couldn't tell you if it worked). The internet is slow and sometimes very difficult to access - do so in the lobby... More

Kivi is a good place, with nice, friendly staff and good quality rooms. The service at the restaurant is not extremely fast, but they are very kind and the food is worth the waiting. Please, note that some rooms have issues with the lock, so double check everything works fine before taking the room. So: why not??

I stayed here on four different occasions while on Intrepid adventures. I can't say enough about the attentive staff, they were lovely and kind. The rooms are 'aging' and I was worried about the door locks, one of the rooms I had smelled mildewy, showers were luke warm, the elevator sounds like it may break at any moment. But the... More

I braced myself for this hotel after reading some reviews, but it wasn't so bad. I stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour, of course, and after camping for 2 weeks the Kivi was luxurious! Even upon arrival, I was impressed. Staff were friendly, the buffet breakfast was good as well as the restaurant (just slow)! The Kivi is... More

We were booked in for the night prior to starting our Intrepid Serengeti safari and also booked for the night of our return. As we arrived later in the evening (around 8:30) they were very accommodating in their dining room being open for dinner even though we didn't eat until around 9:30. The rooms were quite generous and the bed... More

The pool is open to public for a small fee, so you do not need to be a guest to use it. The toilets, shower and changing rooms could be better, they are very basic, but if you just came for an afternoon dip, it is really enough. There are plenty of chairs, you get the towel for the fee.... More

I only stayed here as it was paid for by Intrepid but it was very nice even though a bit expensive for me. The room was comfy and breakfast was included which was also nice. It is walking distance fro the city and not too far from the Manyatta Backpackers also in Millmani Road where I stayed the night before

We stayed here one night, which was included in our Intrepid Tour as this was the meeting location. The hotel itself is ok. Everything seems and looks old. A pool is on site, but we haven't had time to use it. The WiFi is quite slow and only available close to the stairways and at the reception (didn't work in... More

My friend and I selected this hotel because it was the meeting location for our Intrepid tour. I started out with a good impression. They allowed us to check in early so that we could do some sightseeing. The hotel is definitely older and in need of updating, but the staff was very friendly. The pool area was very nice... More

Upon reading previous reviews I was expecting to walk into something of a crime scene, but am pleasantly surprised! The room is old but clean, with lovely white bed linen and a shower with better temperature and pressure than my own at home. Staff are so friendly and helpful, Joseph at the bar is great to chat to. Toilet does... More
