This place is very convenient if your just passing through Nairobi. Its right next to the bus station and in a good walking location of Nairobi. The staff was so nice and friendly (as all of Kenya is). Expect what you pay for, very basic rooms. more

The rooms are not bad and there's almost no noise front or back of the building. Terrible pillows though...hard seat cushions actually...they were supposedly talking about replacing them with real pillows soon but check to confirm. A nice central, clean tourist hotel. We turned up 'on psec' and got a superior triple room for KSH 3,500 / €35 without breakfast as we were leaving ealry next day. The Parkside is central and the staff concerned about your safety. Rooms are basic - better rooms are on the 4th floor. Fine for a night if passing through Nairobi - not a destination! more

If all you care about is a cheap hotel, then by all means stay here. Otherwise, beware! If you do choose to stay here, then try to get a room on the fourth floor (they are halfway decent).
