Our Kenyan Airways flight was cancelled so they put us in the hotel for the day until the next flight. I was expecting a sub-standard hotel, but props to both Kenyan Airways and Boma Inn for an excellent experience in customer service. The hotel was incredible and the staff went above and beyond for what could have been a really... More

I have visited the Boma several times and the facility is good for hosting conferences and meetings. Accessibility, staff professionalism and friendliness, equipment, snacks, lunch... it's all there in the package. Beyond this is the knowledge that the revenue earned by this hotel ends up supporting the mission of the Red Cross. One can be assured that in a way... More

I chose this hotel due to its convenient location close to both the Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airports - an important consideration if you are visiting Nairobi simply as a base for safaris. The hotel itself is modern and luxurious. The room we stayed it was large, comfortable and quiet. It had both a bath as well as a shower.... More

Hello cheetah80, Thank you for your review. Our team took note of the areas where we were less than impressive and corrective action has since been taken to address the shortcomings. We hope you will confirm this on your return visit. Regards Aggrey More

The hotel edifice and interior decor were excellent and promised much. Given that this was a relatively new 5-star establishment, our expectations were sky-high. However, our problems started at check-in when we found out that our reservation had been cancelled as the reservations clerk had booked us in a day prior to when we were to arrive. Nevertheless, with a... More

Good day alphatraveller2015, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your candid feedback on the service you received at our facility during your recent stay. We shudder to imagine that a guest can receive such cold and impersonal service at our facility and I unreservedly apologize for that. Leaders of the various sections are drilling down to identify the staffs... More

Stayed here one night on way to safari in Maasai Mara; beautiful hotel w/lovely public areas. Staff couldn't have been nicer. However, lovely our room was ( it was quite large and well furnished w/a nice view), it could not make up for the absolute lack of light in the bathroom (I mean, it was dark!) and no hot water.... From the lobby to the rooms, you can feel attention to detail. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. My request for a quiet room was honored. There was a slight glitch connecting my laptop to the AV system. However, my stay was extended by 8 hours to enable me to complete my work! Awesome :)

Spent 1 night only before heading on to Maasai Mara. The service was efficient and room was large and nice, with a separate shower and bathtub. Breakfast was very good. Transfers to and from the aiport were short and easy. Overall good experience!

The wi-fi is a joke: never lasts more than a few minutes without dropping the line. Very frustrating when trying to work. Also, lucky the weather was quite warm, because that made the cold shower less painful. Water only started warming up when I had finished my ablutions. Not good for a hotel that is definitely not cheap. I have... More

Hello BrozlikM, Thank you for your review. We know how irritating it can be to re-live a bad experience and we regret for putting you through it once again. We are gutted by your feedback as it seems like our system of managing our guests failed. At the beginning of our operations, we had all the challenges you have mentioned;... More

Had an excellent one week stay without an incidence. The place to be out of the city. Being out of the city makes it an ideal place for doing business meetings. Their several restaurants and health clubs gives one wide array for selection and a good day to wind up a busy day

Recently returned and today found that i have had £10,655-14 of fraud on a credit card all from Kenyan IP addresses and the only place I used that card in Africa was in the BOMA when I stayed there. When I checked out the early morning staff member (the only person on duty) had to process my credit card twice.... More

Hello M L, Thank you for your detailed review. We are horrified at the lapses you have mentioned. We are living in challenging times and us a hotel; we try to balance the need for security and what has been termed by other guests as harassment. On the credit card, it is true we have had comments about double charges... More
