The Boma is a very good hotel with modern facilities and very good location. It is very close to Wilsons airport and close to the international airport and to the tourist attractions in Karen. I very much enjoyed staying in this neighbourhood which was safer and less stressful than the city centre. The hotel is very clean and the restaurants... More

There is no other hotel with the service of personalised service, facilities and quality of services in Nairobi - we need one IN the city as well :). However, it being near the airport also means I can enjoy a wonderful night before I leave early in the morning to a hardship post.

It is a disappointment I must say, given it claims as a five star. The location definitely is not an advantage if you go to Nairobi for tourism. Better stay in downtown hotels, such as Hilton - quick a nice one for coffee and food. It is just not value for money. I would give it a three star rating.

This a a wonderful place to be though its a bit far from the city centre in this day in age its a good thing i guess....the place is clean and the attention to detail and finishing is absolutely first class....not sure what happens at lunch time with the meals but the breakfast is really good with a wide variety....

We booked the room for the day because we had a midnight flight our. Beautiful room and very comfortable and clean. Had a nice lunch buffet and I believe they offer a dinner buffet too. The food was delicious. About 15 minutes from the airport. Very nice employees.

We stayed here for one night on our way through Nairobi to the Masai Mara. I almost made the mistake of making the reservation at The Boma Inn which is on the same property but which is much less luxurious, although it is cheaper. Thankfully, we did get the right hotel and we enjoyed it very much. Its quite a... More

I only stayed at the Boma one night: my flight from the US got in late and I was due on safari early the next morning. The driver was waiting for me at the airport and got me safely to the hotel--check-in was easy and fast. The room was huge and very modern. It was late and I'd eaten on... More

I stayed at the Boma Nairobi 3 times this month, using it as a base while travelling around Africa. Each time the service has been great, reception friendly and the rooms really large and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and varied and the staff really helpful and efficient. Would recommend to anyone who wants a good, city hotel.

It's so exquisite, and that was even before it was officially opened ;) Their decor, colour and furniture mixing is great and the rooms are better. This is one place I wouldn't mind taking a bath rather than a shower. Unfortunately, it's like a beautiful castle with cold gray walls, hardly any 'love' as it seems very formal and everyone... More

After staying in other parts of Kenya for 2 weeks, it was very refreshing to stay at The Boma for a night before we left Kenya. The hotel is very nice and clean, seems almost new and the service was EXCELLENT! I enjoyed my conversations with numerous of the staff. I also felt the care given to us at the restaurants... More
