Wow – what a dump! We got stuck in Nairobi during the Kenya Airways strike and this was the “hotel” the Airline put us at. The nightclub went until 4 am – and it was so loud in our room you didn’t miss a lyric – just like you were on the dance floor. Nothing about the room was clean... more

Location of this hotel is good if you are interested in city center. Security is "tt much" - scares even the guests other things - average more

I have stayed a few times at this hotel. Positives: Rooms are reasonable and clean, hot water and bath and shower in each room. Each floor has a guard who monitors ins and outs in a record book so you feel secure there. Guards are also at the entrance door and in the lobby. Staff helpful; also they arrange good... more

Guards verify your entrance and exit to the hotel. (Yes, I know it's downtown Nairobi, but...) Ever floor has a guard. Have to provide a deposit for the remote control. Cannot call out without buying a phone card. No room service menu in the room. No BBC World, but plenty of Indian channels. Food and staff not bad. Bed was... more

We stayed at the Boulevard on arrival in Nairobi and found it very nice. We completed our week long safari then stayed 2 nights at the Sixeighty. It's quite clean and a bustling, busy hotel with travellers from all over the world and tour groups. The rooms are a bit worn out but clean and the location is great, right... more

It was my 2nd visit to Nairobi this year. My 1st choice was Fairview hotel as I stayed before, but it was full! So I ended up in such a horrible hotel (Boulevard). Quite an old hotel with very poor facilities. When you compare the services you receive against what you paid, its 100% ripped off deal. In the evenings,... more

Spent one night here and was kept awake by the nightclub until past 3am. Maybe its facilities are good and maybe the nightclub had a big night that night- but on the evidience of my one night stay - my room was basic, the nightclub noisey and the prostitutes on the corner didn't give me a good feeling about the... more

I've stayed at the 680 about 4 or 5 time over the past 4 years. I have alway really liked it - especially when it cost $35 a night about a year ago. When they doubled the price overnight, I definitely felt it was not worth the value & will probably not stay there again. Personally, I find the rooms... more

At approximately US$ 70 for a double room this is probably the worst value i have ever found in a hotel.... The place is run down, noisy, dirty and patronised by prostitutes and other dodgy characters. I recommend you not to stay here. Spend a few dollars more and go to the Boulevard which is much much much better... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, its even worse than any hostel I have ever stayed in. Its dirty, unsafe, unwelcoming, noisy and generally horrific. I would not be surprised if they rented rooms by the hour. On every floor there is an armed security guard, which doesn't fill you with confidence. The rooms don't lock.... more
