The hotel was opted for as the conference was being held there and I chose not to commute by taxi from another venue. It was definitely not a budget option and the hotel sparkles with service excellence. During my 4 night stay, I did not have any request that was not dealt with smoothly and positively. The wifi in my... More

This place is big, very big. If arriving at night, pay attention to your Porter to get your bearings to be able to find your way back to your room or to the restaurant/reception. Certain advertised facilities such as the shopping centre and the disco are currently closed, undergoing refurbishment. The hotel is well provided for with several different restaurants... More

Positives: -Expansive grounds, great for outdoor workouts. - Good cooked meals(lunch and dinner) - Architecture, photogenic landscape. Great initial vision although a bit run down. -Plenty of Facilities, all within the huge compound. Negatives -Slow Wifi (2 Mbps) in 2015 -Expensive WiFi(not free as indicated) it's freaking 2015 -Almost stale confectionery, esp wheat/grain based -Poor maintenance of facilities(including washrooms) ,... This hotel is huge and I mean huge, need a map to get around but it is very African. They handle large conferences well but need to ensure catering numbers right otherwise people miss out. Clean and interesting.

For this trip, I only stayed here for a day room on my last day. If I had a do over, I would have stayed here for the night. It's a nice, quiet place to get a good night's rest before boarding the long flight home (and I never seem to get any sleep on the long flights). My room,... More

We had a workshop at the hotel which worked very well. We were in conference room Mt. Kenya D, with large windows. The only draw back was that sometimes it got too hot, and the one air conditioner in the room didn't seem to be enough. Mostly the climate is such that you can manage with one, however. The benefit... More

I was here with a couple of friends; we were looking for a hotel a little distant from town and could offer us that relaxing environment. My friends eventually thought of this place. The entrance view didn't seem as nice as the inside. Though the parking is vast and seemed secure. We were received with a good dinner (buffet); the... More

I stayed her September 27-29 and October 6. This is a very large, and well-secured resort complex (an important factor when staying in Nairobi). The grounds are quite nice, lush, well-maintained, and attractive. Rooms are large and well-appointed, although dated. Bathroom fixtures and equipment could use updating to bring the rooms up to a 4-star rating. During my first stay,... More

This hotel Will always be for me a nice memory , because the last time I was there was 15 years ago , but it represents the real image of Africa. The rooms were decorated with dark exotic woods with colonial furniture and the general atmosphere was great . There were austriches walking in the gardens around the hotel..., they... More

I went with friends to see the dinner and dance show here which i have to say was spectacular and the dancers and acrobats were superb. It is well worth the visit with friends to see this and experience some Kenyan tradition. The venue was a little empty so the atmosphere was a bit dull but take nothing away from... More
