On the plus side, this is a lovely venue in terms of gardens and general facilities. There are a number of restaurants on site, and more than one swimming pool, plus various bar options. There is also a gym that is larger than average. In terms of the rooms, they are in serious need of an update in order to... More

My last visit to Safari Park Hotel was in 2009. I was left with an 'average' impression on that trip. This time, I'd rate the lodging as very good. Check in was handled more smoothly, staff friendlier and food even better. My stay for this trip was in Leopard Room #409 (ground level). This Junior Suite room was very large,... More

I have stayed at Safari Park a couple of different times for work. It is convenient for where I am headed, but a bit out of the way for those more interested in a central Nairobi location. The grounds are quite extensive and there are several different restaurants to choose from. The gym is fantastic! My room has always been... More

I arrived early morning of the 24th October (3am) only to find that the bed sheets had not been changed after the previous occupants left. The sheets smelled of sweat. It took housekeeping a good 45 minutes to bring fresh linen. Very disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights at the end of September before taking a safari trip. Our room in Zebra block had dated plumbing but we were won over by the 4- poster beds and lovely mosquito nets plus the grounds and our balcony. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept and the café by the swimming pool had very good... More

Last year we stayed at the Safari Park Hotel and enjoyed the stay, so we decided to book again this year. On the 15 September 2014 we arrived in Nairobi and stayed overnight and at the end of our safari we stayed another night with a late checkout. Café has good food, reasonable price and the included breakfast was very... More

We spent two nights here at the beginning of September before commencing our safari and would have liked to have had an extra day just spending time enjoying the beautiful grounds and relaxing by the pool. It is a very large complex which really is an oasis in this otherwise bustling city. As well as the delightful environment, the staff... More

The property is very large, and it has many things to do within it! The dining is average, with a couple of different choices, including the Japanese Steak House, and BBQ. Very good italian place also.. Entertainment is decent. One room had Bedbugs, but management took care of the problem upon being informed!

We stayed here for 2 nights before our safari. The rooms are huge and well-appointed. Very nice balcony/patio with chairs and a table. Lush, beautiful grounds. Looks like many weddings happen here. There is a fairly complete gym (multiple cardio machines) and a 2 km walking/running path on the grounds. The food is mediocre, nothing special, but a good variety... More

True to this title, its a mammoth hotel with great lawns, big widespread rooms, restaurants and huge campus. I really enjoyed my stay for one night in this hotel and the silver lining was the great African Extravaganza dance show and the dinner setting which had guests from whole of Africa- each state having its different dance forms( some jumping,...
