I've stayed twice at the Safari Park Hotel during business trips to Nairobi, and both times for a several-day meeting. The hotel is located in nice grounds, and has a 'safari' decor, with the architecture representing native buildings, a stuffed (and dusty) elephant in the reception area, and tattered alligator hides and other decorations on the walls. The grounds are... More

I spent about four day at Safari Park and found it lovely, peaceful and quiet. It could use some updates - the bed was very hard, and the bathroom water pressure was not great. But is also has beautiful sprawling, green grounds with pools, water falls, and lots of trees. If you are expecting European style "finishing' you will be... More

I stayed three nights at Safari Park Hotel to attend a work-related training.I am sad to say that the poor facilities of the hotel hampered me from enjoying the workshop to the fullest. The rooms The rooms are in dire need of maintenance. There are cracks in the marble, fittings are old, the shower was grimy and there was no... More

Sadly, this hotel is completely out of touch with its customers! In today's connected world this hotel offers no wireless in the bedrooms! Even after moving rooms, there was still nothing!! In four nights I had no connectivity. The IT person George made all kinds of promises and then disappeared, never to be seen or heard from again. So I... More

After a many LONG flights, travelers are weary and tired and jet lagged. Driving through the streets of Nairobi from the airport to the Safari Park Hotel is definitely overwhelming, and suddenly, there you are...in a serene oasis in the middle of a chaotic city! The grounds are beautiful and we even saw some monkeys wondering around. We ate some... More

We spent several nights at the Safari park hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the walled compound is very safe and lush. The rooms are spacious, but our balcony ceiling leaked and the bathroom fixtures could have used an update. There were many dining choices and the dance revue show was very entertaining. Some of the wait staff in restaurants... More

Firstly I enjoyed my stay, the hotel is set in fabulous grounds. I didn't feel like I was in a city at all. The rooms were fine but Unfortunately it is in need of a refurb. The pools looked great but needed a good clean. The conference centre was a good space but was very tired. Very dirty and tatty... More

The Safari Park Hotel is an amazing oasis in what was once the outskirts of Nairobi, but now feels so close to the close city center. The grounds are tended with great care and provide an incredibly comfortable destination for visitors to Kenya. Despite the closeness of the newly completed Thika Road highway adjacent to the property, the area where... More

I will keep it simple. It's run down, there has clearly been no renovation since it was built in 1992. For an apparently business hotel it's a bit tiresome to be told; internet is chargeable, gym is chargeable, late check out is 50% of the night fee. The service team is good, no fault there, Tigers led by donkeys

We stayed 2 nights in April. Excellent check in services. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Room was large, very clean and nicely furnished. Bed was very hard. The grounds are fantastic. Flowers and majestic trees are abundant. Just walking the area is a treat. We ate at two of the restaurants and both are recommended. The breakfast buffet has an... More
