I must be honest. The only thing going for this hotel is that it is in the city centre and then the rooms are very big. Other than that, it was an old hotel in need of serious refurbishing. Check in was extremely slow. There was only one person attending to over 12 people. I had just come into Nairobi... More

After reading other recent reviews before my trip I was not expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed 3 nights, I think - I arrived around 2 am on a Tuesday/Wednesday and checked out at midnight on a Friday and, since the company that sent me down arranged to pay for all my meals taken at the hotel,... I stayed here for one night during a layover in Nairobi. Unfortunately I do not get to book my own business travel because I would not have booked this hotel. It was old, dingy, and the air conditioning didn't work at all. I never cooled off. In the morning, I realized I could have opened my window... it was so... More

It is always interesting reading people's reviews folllowing your stay at the hotel in question. I would have to agree with those reviews critical of the hotel. Myself and three colleagues stayed for one night and had a late check out (9.00pm) on the second night. My company had booked the rooms prior to our arrival in Nairobi. Things did... More

I like the hotel, even though it's a bit outdated. The rooms are clean, but the air condition is old and loud, and it doesn't even do it's job. The staff ranges from friendly in the reception to horrible in the atrium. We had some problems with our breakfast. They said it was included, so we had breakfast the first... More

Used conference room next to road PATHETIC lighting due to poor choice of curtains. Waiters need to get uniforms and at least smile. For heaven sake close down the hotel and... More

The hotel is very centrally located near the Kenyan pariliament...is a boon but pain also because of the heavy traffic jams. The staff are very friendly. But one major problem is the corridors all are dark most of the time. The swimmimng pool located at the Mezzaine floor is quite good..the Gym near the pool is fantastic. The rooms are... More

All the staff members are friendly but the hotel is in dire need of renovation after more than 15 years without getting any fac-lift. I live in Miami but I am originally Kenyan and I think this hotel has the best location for business. Please also look at the brandname, it is not one of the names I would expect... More

This was the second time we opted to stay during Sept 2010, in this hotel. Lat time was in the month of April 2010. We found the people very warm and helpful - attentive to the needs of business travelers like us. I visited this hotel - both the times with our MD - and though he is a pure... More
