Everything you've heard is true. The giraffes, the grounds, the manor itself, the food and hospitality, were all wonderful. Even the wart hogs were welcomed us. The location was perfect for visiting the Elephant Sanctuary, Kazuri Bead Factory and Karen Blixen's house.

This is a beautiful old manor home converted into guest suites. I stayed in "Betty" which is on the second floor with a huge balcony. I was greeted very early in the morning by the resident giraffes at my window..Such a treat! Any room would be fine, however, as all guests are given the opportunity to feed the visitors, and... We stayed at Giraffe Manor for one night (like most people it seemed...) on 15 October 2013. We were welcomed as our van came up the driveway, given a briefing with a cool drink and cold flannel, and shown to our upgraded room - the Karen Blixen suite. We arrived just before lunch was being served - and were encouraged... More

We booked to stay here for one night at the end of our honeymoon as I love animals and I wanted to fulfill my dream to get up close to one of the most stunning beautiful animals in the world which was our main reason to book to stay . however I wasn't expecting to also stay in a beautiful... More

The experience here is overwhelmingly amazing and unique.......the giraffe's coming to breakfast is so much fun! We were on the first floor (in the newer section) and also had a giraffe come to our window for an afternoon treat! (And don't forget the dog and Pumba's running around too!). The Manor itself is elegant, clean and generally lovely, both terms... More

I can only echo all the other reviews. What a fantastic place. The staff were very eager to please and always wanting to do more. It was great fun to eat breakfast and afternoon tea with the giraffes and warthogs. Our room was lovely, although it would have been great if the shower had a little stronger water pressure. They... Staying at Giraffe Manor had been at the top of my "bucket list" for nearly 30 years. It was everything we expected and more. Worth every penny. From the moment you are picked up from the airport or hotel to the sad tear jerking moment you leave you are treated like royalty by the friendly staff. Lynette and Tony make... More

We stayed here for a night at the outset of a three week safari vacation. What a great "in your face" introduction to Africa and giraffes. A trip to the Giraffe Centre next door, a short hike, and a tour around Karen (including the Blixen house), were all part of our stay at the Manor. Our safari guides were always... More

We did not stay at the manor, however we did visit the grounds to pet the giraffes and to feed them. What an experience. I would like to stay here next time! The place was very clean, and one could tell the animals were well taken care of and loved.

There's no much to add to previous reviews. Though a bit expensive but this place is 200% worth for money. Feeling giraffees so closely makes you feel real wild and special. Some people says if you cannot afford Giraffee Manor you can see the same at Giraffee centre but on my opinion they are preatty different. Being on the deck... More
