I heard about Giraffe Manor several years ago and had kept it on my list. Finally, we were flying through Nairobi and I took the opportunity to stop for one night. Giraffe Manor was wonderful!! My five year old was amazed, and while a little shy with the giraffes at first, with the help of the Giraffe Manor team soon... More

Every review of Giraffe Manor says the same thing – It is pricey, the rooms are lovely, the food is good and the staff are welcoming. And, it is something you absolutely should do if you can. I will not repeat long descriptions of all of those wonderful qualities, but I will confirm that they are all 100% true! The... More

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special, everyone calling you by name and making you feel welcome. A special thank you to Tony for his professional and friendly manner which set the tone for our stay. Giraffe Manor is a boutique hotel with old-world charm. You can’t help but relax strolling in the lush gardens surrounding... More

I was lucky enough to nab a room at Giraffe Manor. Tip-make your reservations a year out. It is quite an experience. Petting, kissing and observing giraffes this close! An experience of a lifetime!!!! The Manor is beautiful. Attention to detail, food and service is fantastic. We arrived very late, and the staff stayed up to prepare a light supper... More

What a brilliant start to our Kenya holiday! We had one night at the Giraffe Manor and loved it! The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was gorgeous and the food delicious. Having breakfast with the giraffes is not an experience we will ever forget and we really enjoyed our visit to the Giraffe... More

When staying in Nairobi, it is a must to overnight at Giraffe Manor. This wonderful boutique hotel of only 10 rooms is on 12 acre as of private land within the grounds of the Giraffe Research Centre which houses the endangered Rothschilds Giraffe. It was a private home in the 1930's and therefore the rooms are not huge but there... More

I did NOT overnight hear but spent the day with great friends. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The food was great. Yes it was a set menu but I thought that was fine. The meals were well presented and tasty. The wine choices complemented the meals. The house special definitely has to be "The Dawa", a local cocktail.... More

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome by Steve who gave us a brief about the history of the manor & a short tour as well other general information along with a welcome drink. We stayed for two nights, the first of which was in 'Marlon' which is rather small so when we moved to... More

We stayed for one night prior to going on two safaris in Mara and Lewa. It is a beautiful old house and the giraffe's are a fun experience. Our room was incredibly small and the food options and times are quite rigid as it is run like a bed and breakfast. Some staff were quite friendly and other's could be... More

We stayed for 2 nights. When we arrived, We were met by Tony who made us feel extremely welcome. Even before checking in we were sat down outside with a drink and given pellets to feed a giraffe (how cool). After check-in we were shown to our room which was quite large and very clean and comfortable. Dinner was served... More
