We spent one week in Nairobi with our two young kids, aged 3 and 5. This was our kids' first trip to Africa and the Fairview Hotel felt like a home away from home. The kids loved the pool and the gardens, the many choices of food at the different restaurants (especially the smoothies), and the beautiful chess boards in... More

A great place to stay in Nairobi. We stayed there for one night before our safari and 1 1/2 nights afterwards. The staff is very pleasant and the hotel is super secure. You can't even get into the corridor to your room without using your room key. The included breakfast is amazing. The dinner was O.K. (don't order Pizza..it is... More

Thank you very much for you feedback and compliments. Clarification regarding our pizza ingredients: Most pizza ingredients are fresh. We would be grateful if you would let us know what was not to your liking. Our pizza's have actually been ranked as some of the best in Nairobi. Daniel director@fairviewkenya.com. More

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 8 years and after trying out some other places in Nairobi have decided to just always go straight back to the Fairview. I feel perfectly at home there. It is clean and the staff is very friendly; I also love the food, especially eating in the garden, which is... More

Thank you very much for your feedback. For us, room renovation and upgrading is a continuous process and one of the rooms you occupied is already under renovation while the other will be renovated thereafter. As for the food quality and price, our reviews are typically outstanding. We do not believe that any of the hotels in our market offer... More

We stayed here for 9 nights. The room was excellent - well set out, spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was over the small side road from the main hotel, so very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The meals were good, especially the breakfast where eggs were cooked to order. The gardens are lovely and well... More

We stayed here years ago, and because of the location decided to try it again. Glad we did. The service is excellent, food superior, room (business) clean, miminalist, safe, quiet. You could even open the windows. The beds were hard but on request you can get a topper. If you like to read, you'll find the lighting wonderful.

I stayed here on 3 occasions during December 2009/January 2010. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, it is quiet and the staff are friendly. The hotel is surrounded by splendidly kept gardens and that setting is a perfect contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Food from room service which I... More

The Fairview is amazing. The room (I stayed in a 'First Class' room) was immaculate, comfortable, spacious and lovely. The breakfast buffet ample and delicious. Staff were fabulous. Gardens and grounds gorgeous. Gym and pool great and clean. It's family run and owned too, which makes it even better. We had a world-class meal at the Pango Brasserie and a... More
