I stayed here for a week on business and was delighted with everything. Fantastically friendly staff who can't do more for you, great selection of restaurants so you don't get bored, awesome breakfast buffet selection and taxis arranged instantly. Pitched as a country hotel in the city and it is. Easy to forget the hustle and bustle of Nairobi when... More

Beautiful property in central Nairobi with lots of lush green spaces, great pool and deck area and four restaurants on site. The conference facilities are modern and participant friendly (Kijiji A, Kijiji B are nicer than Aquarist as they open to a small garden). Buffet and a la carte meals are all superb and the fruit in the breakfasts amazingly... More

Yes, it is a bit overpriced but you get what you pay for. A quite place in a crowded city, close to the business center. You avoid the daily traffic jam as best as possible, and you can relax in a beautiful garden and in one of the five restaurants. Rooms are fantastic if you do not go for the... More

Our party of three businessmen arrived from the airport at 21h30 and although we had had prepaid travel agent generated reservations we spent almost 20 minutes at the check in counter with lots of form filling and computer punching and general fussing by the check in staff. We were advised that we were being upgraded to "Business class rooms" -... More

I stayed at the Fairview and was more than pleased by the experience. My suite had a private entrance with security features that left me feeling quite safe. The suite itself was roomy with deep wood accents and I immediately felt relaxed when I walked inside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was quite spacious too. The room... More

Fantastic grounds, has always been a favorite. Was a little disappointed to hear the family sold it to a South African hotel corp. Food is very good and atmosphere can't be beat. Had an econ room, which had a ton of character................very simple...........but character; felt I should be holed up there writing the next great novel!! :) Do know, however,... More

They call this a country hotel in town and they're not wrong. Stayed here a few times now and had a mix of rooms (most with aircon but occasionally without) and find it hard to fault. Very helpful staff, good choice of restaurants, good size pool and very good security

Fairview is usually a nice green getaway right in Nairobi - so it is usually a nice stay. However, this time, I stayed for 5 nights and was quite disappointed. First, I was put in a room by the apartments, 3 locked gates and a road away from the main building. The room was basic, with minimal charm or decoration,... More

I stayed for two nights in a business room, the rooms are a good size. The breakfast buffet is varied. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the staff is exemplary. I would stay here again and I'm already booked to to return.
