There are so many great reviews of the Fairview Hotel on this site already, but I wanted to add my own. I have stayed at the Fairview regularly since my first visit in 1982. The hotel has gone through several upgrades and changes through the years, all for the better. It is a great respite from the busy city, with... More

This place is one of my favorite hotels on earth! Wonderful, breath-taking landscaping and gardens, you will never know you are in a bustling city. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and the free breakfast is spectacular!

One of the greatest boutique hotel in Nairobi with great bar and restaurant, I stayed there for two nights at double room, the hotel is superb in a sense of its great service and facility, the room however are a bit smaller compare to other hotels in this price range, But I like it.

We stayed here for 1 night, on our way to Safari. The garden & grounds are a respite from the traffic and noise of the city. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the meals . If you want to feel safe in Nairobi - this is the place.

Beautiful gardens, great food and incredible colonial fine dining restaurant , with no prices on the menu. The pool and surrounds were beautiful. Staff extremely helpful. Hotel clean and simply lovely. Our room was not that great room 102 on 1st floor in main body of hotel. Clinical and out of sync with hotel. Friends had garden room and said... More

We had a lovely stay here. The economy double room was small but very comfortable. The service was excellent. Sitting in the outdoor restaurant for pizza and listening to the birds and water feature is magical. The interior of the hotel is an older style but well maintained - don't expect a modern looking hotel.

We stayed here for 3 single nights, using it as a base, during our trip to Kenya. I last stayed here in 2013 and 2009 - the place hasn't changed and there were so many members of staff I recognised(and they recognised me). The garden/grounds are a blissful escape from the traffic and dust of Nairobi. The rooms clean and... More

Wonderful place to rest after safari and also a carefree escape from the city. We enjoyed our room. It actually appeared to be a business person's efficientcy apartment. I also loved walking around the gardens aND colonial architecture. Be sure to explore the property as there is much more there than initially is apparent.

Stayed for business for two short trips to Nairobi in successive weeks. Car pick up from airport and drop to airport reliable and courteous. Staff welcoming and helpful - we needed to get a presentation bound and the people from the Business centre organised it quickly and effectively. Rooms in the old house and the Garden side were furnished in... More

I was in Nairobi for business, and this hotel was recommended by one of the people I was coming to see. It is an enclosed oasis within the utter chaos that Nairobi, and particularly Nairobi traffic, can be. The hotel is a complex of buildings near the Israeli embassy, and so traffic for the last stretch getting to the gate... More
