Lovely grounds, garden and public areas. Good choice of restaurants and friendly service. Rooms are fairly rustic, but have everything you really need. Free internet is a good bonus, with data charges being so expensive in Kenya.

Nairobi is a great place except for one thing - the truly terrible traffic So you need to choose a hotel by location. But if the Fairview is near where you need to be its a very good choice. Calm environment, gardens and pool. Reasonable gym and very helpful staff. Better value for money than the chain business hotels.
