Arrived to an amazingly delicious sea food buffet (Fridays) - can definitely recommend this for residents of Nairobi. Room was comfortable with welcoming service. All round great hotel!

We had an overnight stay on our honeymoon before flying out to Zanzibar and it was everything we needed after being on safari, the room we were given was one of the best hotel suites I have stayed in anywhere in the world and I would let everyone know that if they were planning a trip to Kenya that involved... Loved this hotel. Spacious rooms, nice breakfast, lunch and dinner. Buffets or lighter meals possible. We stayed 1 night during 2 safaries and it was perfect. OK, the surrounding not as nice as the hotels during the safari trips, but perfect for a rest in between. Very nice swimmingpool.

The Nairobi Serena Hotel is without doubt in my mind one of the finest hotels in the city, enjoying a great location at the edge of the central park and the CBD and yet is an oasis of tranquility as I once again experienced last week when back in Nairobi for a few days. Whenever I can I get the... More

Ideal hotel for a short trip to Nairobi...we stayed 2 nights. Very close to Masai market/downtown and easy to get to. Fine dining restaurant was no great shakes though. Lovely pool and balcony.

I have been travelling to Nairobi for about six years now and am still very pleased with the Serena. When I mentioned the security problems that I had read about with guest room safes being burgled, I was assured that the problem had been dealt with. Excellent location for business meetings in the center of town and the restaurants and... More

the Serena in Nairobi is a very comfortable, modern 5 Star Hotel. It has all the amenities that one usually looks for in a 5 Star property. The staff however have a superior air about them which takes the warmth out of service.

We arrived and were told that the hotel had overbooked and did not have a room for us, so we had to use a room on a floor that had been booked out on the following night for some kind of convention, which meant we couldn't unpack our things as we were having to move immediately in the morning when... Unlike so many hotels where you feel like you could be anywhere in the world, the Serena feels like Africa but in an unpretentious, non-touristy way. It is THE hotel for business networking but also has a lovely pool, lush, tropical gardens and lovely eating and drinking space by the pool. Staff are incredibly friendly and now all know my... Had a week of business in Nairobi and the hotel exceeded all expectations. Friendly efficient staff and fantastic rooms, complimented by two great restaurants make for a fantastic stay. I'd come here again any day.
