We stayed in this hotel at the start and end of a 2 weeks stay in Kenya. The first 2 night stay was at the end of Sept and I could not fault a thing. Although arriving early morning from an overnight flight our rooms were ready. Standard rooms are comfortable and well-appointed with everything you need. Some rooms are... More

One of the best place to stay in Nairobi. Its a 5 star and belongs to the Aga Khan Group. Have many Hotels in Kenya. Right in the city centre and is a very busy hotel because of its location. The rooms are very spacious with all 5 star comforts. The bathrooms are big enough and equiped with all toileteries.... More

I stayed here for nine days as part of a honeymoon and to meet family in Nairobi. This place is very classy, and I've not been in a better hotel in Nairobi. The breakfast buffet is possibly the best hotel breakfast I have had anywhere in the world. Most of the time there were many staff around, so getting service... More

Stayed there for two night prior to S. Sudan's Independence in July. I was greeted with smiles from the day we arrived to the day we left. It was bliss. The room was ok, but we had some issues with another friend travelling into Juba. The hotel Concierge sorted that out for us. They even went the extra mile to... More

We had stayed at the Nairobi Serena on 3 separate occasions for business purposes, and more than 2 weeks at a time. This is one hotel I would recommend to everybody. The staff, and I mean ALL of the staff, go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable. They are very responsive to any issues you may... More

We stayed here for one night before our flight, when the receptionist found out it was our honeymoon they gave us a free upgrade to a superior suite and gave us a bottle of champayne. The room was perfect, the service was great - we had room service which was delicious. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was... More

I recently stayed at this hotel prior to going on a safari with A&K. I booked my reservation through my travel agent to stay a day or so prior to the start of the tour. A&K had booked us for the following day as day one of the tour. When we arrived, the hotel stated they had no record of... More

We stayed at the Nairobi Serena for 5 nights in September 2011. My husband was in Nairobi on business, and I was along for a vacation. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our room wasn't ready upon arrival, so we were offered a complimentary beverage in the lounge, and the concierge brought us our room keys only... More

We spent our first night in Kenya at the Nairobi Serena, since our flight arrived at 6pm and we couldn't fly to our safari camp until the next morning. We also had a dayroom at this same hotel for our final afternoon in Kenya. The hotel has beautiful public spaces - the reception, restaurants, garden are spectacular with some exotic... More
