This hotel I found exquisite and warm. from the friendly well informed staff to the magical food. The Maisha spar was out of this world. It was perfect

OK - so it's not upgraded like their properties in Kigali or in Kampala, but the Nairobi Serena still has some of that old Kenya magic. Rooms are perfectly acceptable. The gym is solid. Food choices are fine and the location is tough to beat. When the right prices can be had, it's a solid contender though over the years... More

A great place as for a business hotel, meetings - plus the relax time with very good restaurant, nice pool and bar. Very high price - but still great value.

I attended a small conference hosted at the Nairobi Serena Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya at the end of March 2012. My family of four accompanied me on the trip (husband, wife and two girls aged 7 and 3). We stayed Sunday through Wednesday. LOCATION The hotel is located in the heart of Nairobi in a very nice area. The Crowne... More

This hotel has to be in my top 3 in Africa. I have stayed in this hotel three to four times a year for the last four years. Every visit ensures a lasting impression. From the check- in, to the rooms an air of excellence in always to be expected. Rooms are spacious, huge beds, bathroom are nice. I do... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 18 years. Just spent 5 nights here in February & early March 2012. The rooms are outstanding but some of the views out the windows are not great. Housekeeping is about as good as you can get. No long walks to the elevator and a staff guard on each... More

A brief stay at Nairobi Serena on route to Nakuru and the Mara but this hotel never ever disappoints. The service, standard of accommodation, facilities and food are quite simply superb. There were some very very Important guests staying there during our visit but the service we received was not diminished even though they really had to take care of... More

This was definitely a full service oriented hotel. Our balcony room was impeccably clean and comfortable. They even give you your choice of pillows. I forgot a curling iron and checked out the beauty salon. Straight, fine, blonde hair was probably not their specialty because they had a choice of numerous flat irons for straightening, but they ordered one for... More

I stayed at Serena for 2 nights on a recent business trip to Nairobi. The hotel is clean, conveniently located, and secure. I used the gym facilities one morning and found them to be very nice, with a good staff. I'd give the hotel between 3 and 4 stars. I'd stay here again.

Greatly attentive to the details! In terms of the facility but also in terms of the people running it. Upon arrival instant recognition of the Leading Hotels membership, with subsequent rooom upgrade. Roooms were nicely appointed, well refurbished, efficient free broadband wifi everywhere, Comfortable beds and nice amenities that are absolutely to the level one would expect of a member... More
