Nice hotel and really friendly staff (like much of Kenya) but not what I expected of an InterContinental standard. I found the Sarova Panafric down the road a better hotel all round despite friends from Nairobi telling me the InterContinental would be better.

Stayed here for two nights enroute to Masai Mara. Rooms were great, excellent furnishing, nice comfy beds, big LCD tv. Bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. Housekeeping staff was attentive and room service was ordered twice and was quick and efficient and food was generally satisfactory.

This hotel is located startgeically, just opposite the Kenyan National assembly.
Good green surroundings. The lobby is reasonable with coffeeshop at lobby level itself.
The resturant just off the lobby is also quite good. The buffet spread for break fast was good.
We had a rooom facing the road and assembly...very good view.
