Had a few free nights from priority club so decided to stay at the IC Nairobi. Pros Good Concierge Good Location Great Indian restaurant Cons Service other than restaurant was horrible. Check in staff was rude and unhelpful. Elevator broken Mirror in our bathroom was broken 2 days to fix it. Internet was slow and not free. Big thumbs down.... more

Discriminated on for being a Kenyan woman. The staff are very narrow minded and outdated reasoning. My advice to Kenyan women living abroad, if you happen to go to Kenya, do not make the mistake of staying at the Inter-Continental because you will be embarrased and humiliated like I was. more

Had to stay overnight on a flight back to India because of a delay. The stay was more than pleasant. The food at the hotel restaurant caters to almost every major world cuisine so you will not feel out-of-place. The rooms are more than comfortable, spacious and luxurious. The hotel will even arrange a safari trip for you if you... more

This hotel as such is really okay. There is ample of security on EVERY floor so it is pretty scary up there. The hotel rooms as such are satisfactory. The spa and swimming pool are really well kept. The staff is very very helpful and the food is also nice. There is strict security checking at the gate. The view... more

The hotel is clean but old. Someone tried to break into our room at 1 am. The security manager and hotel manger did nothing to address the problem. I would not recommend staying here. more

For what we paid (almost 400 dollars) the hotel is no value for money. It is a typical 5-star of a previous generation. Rooms are rather small, even at the club floor level. No major complaints, but it shouldn't have costed more than $ 200. The outdoor pool is small, don't expect too much. more

Have stayed here many times over the years and am pleased to say that the Intercontinental has improved during that time. The rooms are very average in quality, but spacious and well equipped with minibar, sitting area, safe, desk and irons. My bathroom was very small and a little dated but clean. My hairdryer and one bedside light did not... more

A good hotel, well managed with really thoughtful staff on the Club floor. African hotel experiences range from the surreal to the exquisite - this comes close to the latter. It's not pretty and the pool could be better - but you are in the middle of Nairobi! If you are staying in a Club room (which I recommend) then... more

We held a series of meeting in Nairobi this year (5) and were lodged at the Intercontinental. Hotel is ok and service is good except 2 things: overbooking management and confusion in room pricing. Even though I was on their frequent visitor program, I had to suffer from differences in price, and waiting for hours before getting a room although... more
