Beautiful grounds that give a more relaxing feel to your stay in Nairobi. Would certainly recommend the hotel to other tourists visiting or passing through Nairobi. Location is ideal as it is away from the manic Nairobi CBD. Rooms are of an acceptable standard for this class of hotel. Look out for the monkey if you stay in any of... more

We stayed here for one day before returning to the UK. For a Holiday Inn (western chain hotel) it was very good - not like a Holiday Inn in the USA or Europe - much better! I'd be happy to stay here longer. If you have children (or prefer more privacy) use te "Mischief" pool as it's more secluded; the... more

Somewhat old fashioned but well maintained. Compared to the more standardized Holiday Inns especially in the US this hotel had a very nice local touch with nice gardens, breakfast by the pool and friendly but slow staff. The rooms had no AC but a fan, simple windows without mosquito screen and also no mosquito net over the bed. Fortunately I... more

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. The rooms are clean but the bathrooms need new tiles, bathtubs and toilets. The rate of USD 200 per night was expensive for the standard of the rooms. The hotel has beautiful gardens. High Speed internet connection was functioning at all times but very expensive. The location, away from the city centre,... more

Although I have only been in the Holiday Inn for 3 nights now, I have really enjoyed my stay there so far. I will be there for a total of 10 nights and will return later in February for a few more nights. There are two pools with adequate lounge chairs. The Oasis restaurant has a great breakfast buffett -... more

A good comfortable place to stay. Obliging front desk. We arrived with Travel Collection early in the morning. According to T Collection, check in time was 14.00 and they expected us to sit around after an overnight flight and wait for check in. I made personal arrangements with the hotel both then and on our return trip, and they were... more

Having returned from this holiday over six weeks ago I am composing this from a reflective perspective. As usual I spent a long time doing research on the climate and the various safaris in various locations before deciding on this package and at this time of the year. The whole holiday is thoroughly worthwhile and is very good value for... more

We spent two nights here en route to and from our safari. The rooms we had were very comfortable, clean and with all the amenities you would expect with a multi-chain hotel in a capital city. The Holiday Inn in Nairobi is slightly different to Holiday Inn hotels elswehere in the world that I have used, in that it is... more
