Stayed at the Holiday Inn in the Parklands area of Nairobi on two seperate occasions at the beginning and end of a safari trip. As aa quick overnight stop the hotel is fine....clean comfortable and reasonably close to the city centre but it has one huge drawback NOISE !! Both rooms that we stayed in were totally ill equipped to... more

Located in a safe area of Nairobi, lots of history (used to be called Mayfair), visited it a lot during my six months stay in Nairobi in 2007. Great sun downers too! more

We stayed just the one night after landing in Nairobi the roads to the hotel are terrible especially in the dark! However, we found the hotel spacious, nicely laid out with attractive garden/Pool area you over looked having breakfast which was a good spread. I would happily stay here again. The hotel had secure parking and restaurant attached (we did... more

I had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn. The hotel staff provided good service and I felt both welcome and at ease with their professional attitude. Very good and friendly staff in the reception - except for the one which managed to spoil the whole experience. -If you insist I will of course pay for the rest of the laundry,... more

We stayed here for one night in late September 2009 and had a day room in early October. Kuoni and The Travel Collection use this hotel as the start and finish points for their safaris. The hotel has two restaurants, a bar, a business area and a small shop. The rooms were clean and a decent size; on our second... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn on the first day of our holiday before setting out on safari. We’d expected this to just be a city hotel, but found the surroundings much more spacious, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. The room was pleasant with all the facilities you would want. The Golden Spur Restaurant had beautiful steak, which... more

Having stayed in Holiday Inns in the UK I thought I knew what to expect, but this was a whole league above and beyond! There is a choice of two restaurants, one by the main reception and another by one of the two pools. We tried both and found the food to be very good indeed. The staff are friendly... more

Unlike other Holiday Inns I've been to, this one has character. The gardens are beautiful and a great escape from the pollution in the city. The restaurant menu was uninspiring but it's not far by taxi to city centre eateries. A relaxing place to break our journey between safari and Zanzibar. The powerful shower was much appreciated! more

We stayed here on arrival from England before setting out on our safari. The room was good, the grounds beautiful, the staff very friendly and the food great. We had breakfast in the "posh" restaurant at 6.30am and it was adequate as we didn't feel like eating much anyway. We really liked the buffallo grill, which was where we ate... more
