Strange but interesting decor, friendly and helpful staff, lacklustre food, fast internet, extremely loud bar till late, the music from which you will not escape. If you intend to sleep before midnight do not stay here. If you're looking for a party it's downstairs in the loud bar.

I, with my husband Ashok Bera stayed in Delta hotel for 25th-26th Sep in Room 205 which was booked by out travel agent Esther from Kenya Budget safaris. During this stay, while we were away for dinner on Friday night, the money, my sunglass and ipod which were in the room got stolen. I found it next day morning and... More

I walked into Delta Hotel and was received by a warm welcome by Carol who made check in easy. The deluxe rooms were quite spacious and clean. Internet worked well. The hotel is opposite the Central Police on University Way and feels safe though not too far from downtown (where i enjoy walking into). The breakfast is genuinely good and... More

a little noisy sometimes and the water situation is crappy.. you need the rooms closest to lobby for internet or else you have to sit in second floor lobby. they prefer you speak Swahili or they may add a little fee. I had my drier do all communications

I have stayed at the Delta a number of times. Often there are problems with the room, but on balance like it and keep returning. It is well located; across from the central police station, in the center of the city close to a shopping mall, and buses to Arusha., The double rooms are large with a king size bed,... More

I have stayed twice at the Delta (totalling 20 nights) and can thoroughly recommend it as reliable budget accommodation to suit the foreign tourist's needs. It is clean, safe, and central. There are comfortable common spaces which are great for either a relaxing read, or to work. Free WiFi, though coverage is thin at peak times. The rooms are $55... More

Delta hotel is quite good hotel for tourists. Location is great, in the city center and in the safety area for the tourists. Staff is very friendly. But be careful about the bar inside the hotel. Sometimes it can be loud. After 11 pm music end.

Stayed here one night in transit. Convenient location, near restaurants and supermarkets, 30 min. or so from the airport (if there isn't traffic!). Spacious rooms w/ TV and semi-hot water, big western-style breakfast served in bar downstairs. We paid $105 for a large twin room (2 massive & comfortable double beds), of course it is overpriced, all of Nairobi is!

The Delta is not a bad place to stay but I don't think it's worth what they charge to stay there. On my first night I was booked into a deluxe room and due to the cost, relocated to a smaller, singe bed room in a quieter location, but even that was overpriced for the size and quality. The location... More
