This was my fourth trip to Kenya and by far the best start I had previously been with a volunteer group so the time in Nairobi was spent in nunneries What a treat to stay here. We were picked up from the airport and what a delight to have a "game drive" on the very first night. We saw nocturnal... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review, and we apologise for the wildlife stealing all your chocolate and tooth paste! One of the hazards of living in the bush. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your safari and hope to meet again. All the very best, Emma & Anthony More

The Emakoko was an excellent choice for a weekend out, from the hectic city. We arrived at the Emakoko in the evening through the main gate of the Nairobi National park enroute a game drive, though it was hot and dusty. We were received well by the host Emma and check in was a breeze. The cold towel was refreshing... More

We arrived at this wonderful, intimate lodge after a long 24 hours+ of travel from the US. To our grateful surprise, they had prepared a delicious light supper for us in front of a glowing, romantic fireplace. All meals were excellent and creative, far surpassing our expectations. The lodge is located on the edge of Nairobi National Park. On our... More

We stayed here for a weekend with friends, and can only add our voice to the many others who rave about this lovely lodge. The individual bandas (rooms) are huge, with wide terraces overlooking the edge of Nairobi National Park. There are wide windows to further add to the views and feeling of spaciousness. The decor is tasteful and arrangement... More

If you are spending any time in Nairobi, The Emakoko is the place to be. I cannot think of a better place to end a safari and the NNP is a lovely park to visit. The location was peaceful and beautiful, the food superb and the owners and their remarkable team were friendly and attentive. When I told Anton I... More

The first thing that stands out at this lodge is the service, which extends from Anton, the owner, down to every last staff member. It is rare to see a place where all the staff is trained so well. Everyone was so accommodating and attentive and you really feel like you are getting As for the facilities, the rooms are... More

After a long voyage from Canada, first time landing on the African continent, not knowing what to expect in general....driving in the pitch dark....the lovely Emakoko lodge and villas were much welcomed. The greeting party of Anton and company (hippo included!) made a nice end to the wild ride through the national park's incredibly bumpy roads known as the African... More

Not far from the airport, yet another world entirely. Tons of wildlife, fabulous luxury villas. A long hot bath (with views!) was super after our long trip. Free wifi in the lodge. Anton and Emma and the staff are excellent and great fun. Food was delicious and we highly recommend Emakoko if you are flying in or out of Nairobi.... More
