Rolf's place is a place that deserves a chapter in the books! It is located about 4KM from Rongai town, the boutique hotel is nestled on a large piece of property. One of the main features is the bridge that one has to cross to get to the hotel... It is a very interesting concept and have to say that... More

What a surreal place. Spectacular entrance with the picturesque suspension footbridge with Rolf's place in the backdrop. The staff were welcoming and friendly, a beautiful rustique set-up, relaxing ambience, delectable food and a glorious view. A must visit if in Nairobi. Absolutely loved it and will be back for sure.

The view from outside was beautiful. However, the swing bridge capacity was only 6 people and there wasn't anyone to enforce it. We had a meal at the poolside and I was extremely disappointed. The wait was over 1 hour and we had to get another waiter to assist since our first waiter forgot some of the order. The food... More

For me this is a unique place, based on its Nature for example the rocky parts with the swing bridge. The adventure is quite thrilling given there is a package of paint ball of which has better grounds. The staff are quite hospitable and its a nice afternoon get away.

The place is cool and offers serene environment, its peaceful the fact that its far from the hustle and the bustles of the Nairobi city and yet its not that too far from Nairobi its a good place. Its ideal for family outings and also friends since they offer several activities. We went there with my friends to play paint... More

The surroundings are quite lush and you wouldn't think you're so close to the city. This establishment is ideal for a day out with friends or family. The food was okay and the service wasn't that bad either. That swinging bridge gives it all the marks. All in all, good place.

The approach to Rolf's Place is out of a movie...across a swinging bridge over a deep gorge separating the hotel from the National Park. The hotel itself is such a unique design full of interesting artwork and kitchy items from Rolf's life. Rolf's story, as documented in his autobiography that can be found in the hotel, is just as amazing... More

We had two nights at this place and it was wonderful. The room was big enough and the bathroom size was lovely only downside for the bathroom it's getting old and needs to get some face lift. No hot water bottles in the room at night and the place gets cold. Meals are good and they offer variety We loved... More
