Nairobi is a metropolis, so finding a place to stay is largely a function of where in the city you want to be. Otherwise you are just stuck in traffic all day. The Comfort Gardens is a guest house (don't think luxury hotel), and a nice one by those standards. The rooms are spacious and clean (with showers, not baths).... More

I stayed at the Comfort Gardens because I needed to be near the UN compound, to which the hotel has a free shuttle. The hotel is also within walking distance from the Village Market, which is an upscale mall with some great stores and restaurants. The hotel has quite a lovely pool area. And that is pretty much where its... More

My experience of Nairobi was non existent before arriving so didn't know quite what to expect. For business travellers like me needing to be close to Girigi and the UN offices it's ideal and within walking distance of the offices. Like all the guest houses in the neighbourhood it has high gates and security guards, hotel taxis, comfortable rooms with plenty... More

When I had the opportunity to return for a second trip to Nairobi, there was no question where I would stay. I'd had such a great experience there on a previous trip that I was looking forward to returning and I was not disappointed. The rooms, though not large, are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfasts are varied and well-cooked... More

I stayed 1 week and my room was clean, comfortable, and had good internet. My room overlooked the pool area. I used their taxi to and from the airport, breakfast was great. My bathroom and shower were fine. Was close to the UNON and Market, so I walked to UNON, but there was a shuttle. Staff were helpful to me. Yes I would... More

Stayed here for about a week while working at the United Nations. The hotel appears to be an old villa that has been converted and continually added on to. The main benefit of staying here is convenience: the hotel is within walking distance of Village Market (mall) and a 5 minute shuttle ride of the UN and US embassy. That... More

We was there for 3 nights, from 31st March to 3rd April 2014. Location of the hotel is very good, very close of many International Organizations and Diplomatic Missions. Village Market is also very close and you can reach there in less than 5 minutes walking from the hotel. They can provide cab services and drivers are very kind and... More

We stayed in a single room with a view of a second hand car yard on one side and the driveway and kitchen on the other. Either the shower or the toilet leaked onto the floor. With tiled floors and plain walls the traffic noise from the road, and kitchen noise from 5:30 am until midnight was amplified. Hard beds,... More

The biggest problem with Comfort Gardens was the lack of consistency. I changed rooms because the previous room had disastrous wifi; the room I moved to was better with its wifi reception, although not ideal by a long shot. The previous room had a nice enough shower, with good pressure, but the second room's shower pressure was weak the one... More

This hotel was appalling and did not live up to expectations. The room that was allocated to me was well below the standard advertised on their website. The room was old with dated decor. My room was noisy - noise from the kitchen disturbed us most of the night along with noise from the road. The room had no fan,... More
