My 9 year old daughter and I had a fantastic 3 nights as an introduction to our first African Safari. After an easy collection from the airport we entered the park at midnight and commenced our first night drive spotting mongoose, buffalo & giraffe before we even arrived in camp. After our 3 course dinner we slept well in our... More

My stay at the Nairobi Tented Camp was my first taste of an African safari experience - and what a high standard it has set! I chose the NTC as I had the weekend in Nairobi whilst travelling on business. From the pickup from my hotel to the drop off at the airport two days later I was so well... More

If you love the outdoors and experiencing nature this is a must. We only stayed here one night but enjoyed over 7 hours of safari with very gifted guides, we saw many animals in the park. Our stay at the tent camp was beyond what we dreamed of. The staff was very attentive, the meals wonderful, the bed was so... More

I will let 27 photos speak for themselves. We were able to have four extensive game drives in 48 hours, plus visits to elephant orphanage and giraffe center. Park is full of animals. What made it exceptional is the exceptional guide Andrew and the camp staff. We had secure transfers in the middle of the night to and from airport.... More

When it looked like I would have to spend quite a bit of time at Nairobi airport waiting for a flight I searched for some ideas and came across Nairobi Tented Camp - this was the best thing I did, I spent one night away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not that far away from the... More

We have imagined watching animal migration in Kenya would involve quite some risks: Six vaccinations and anti-malaria pills ahead; some wild animals like lions are outrageously dangerous … Many thanks to Gamewatchers Safaris, our first ever safari holiday has turned out to be a very rewarding life experience. Also thanks to TripAdvisor and the many reviewers for sharing their experience... More

We recently stayed at the Nairobi Tented Camp for five days. During this time we were most impressed with the Camp, the staff who to a person were polite, well versed in the service requirements needed in a camp. Our tent was most comfortable, hot showers readily available and hot water bottles in bed most welcome as it was very... More

Lovely tents, very comfortable and clean, with a charming ensuite shower with proper flushing loo. All very nicely done. Always someone on hand to walk you from your tent to the main reception, or from the restaurant to the toilets, you only have to step out into the dark, and a torch beam lights your way. My daughters were delighted... More

We learnt about the existence of this place very recently and tested it week before last. We did not expect much but were very pleasantly surprised! It really is in the middle of a bush and at night time you won't even make out whether you are in Mara or Nairobi. The tent is basic but the beds beautifully warmed... More

After spending 24 hours in planes and airports it was nice to start my safari within 1 hour of landing in Nairobi. The staff are extremely friendly and informative. The tents are very luxurious with comfortable beds, much better than some of the hotels I have been in. Saw lots of wildlife on the game drive, including white rhino which... More
