Stayed at this hotel. I still cannot believe I stayed there. Cockroaches were hiding behind the Mirror in the Bathroom. Sheets had stains, No Air conditioning. Went to the bar and was pestered by prostitutes. Meal was awful and i was sick all night. I ran away the next day and found another hotel in Nairobi. Everything was old ,... More

The Hotel Boulevard in Nairobi was the first hotel I stayed during my vacation in Africa. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff. I loved the buffet breakfast....it had a great selection from hot sausages, bacon and eggs, hash brown potatoes, pancakes, cereal, you name it but I found the lunch and dinner menu expensive compared to other Nairobi restaurants.... The Sentrim does not deserve the negative reviews. At the end of an 8 week 4WD trek in southern Africa this was a pleasant spot to finish. It does not pretend to be a five star hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful, obliging and interested in its guests and the rooms are spotlessly clean. It is a 5 minute... More

This is a basic hotel but supplied everything I required for a two night stay. No luxury and yes they will charge for an extra person. My son joined us for one night and I ended up paying $45.00 but they did not supply a cot for him - he slept on the floor.

This was my first time in Africa and what an unpleasant surprise when I turned up at the hotel! The room smelled awful. There was nothing you could do to get rid of the smell. The bathroom was not very clean either. There are no lifts at this hotel so you will have to carry your own bags up and... More

This was the drop off spot for our overland trip through east Africa. I had read reviews from other trip advisor members that had warned about the hotel charging for an extra person when someone leaves their bags in your room or uses the washroom. I luckily was not impressed by the reviews I read and had booked another hotel,... More

Whenever I fly into Nairobi, I have always stayed at the Hotel Boulevard. It is quiet, safe, and close to the city center. By no means luxurious, this is a basic hotel. The grounds are reasonably well kept and the view out the back over the garden is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower is warm. In... More

This is a very basic hotel in a good location that is very central. The Hotel itself is very old, which is noticeable everywhere. The rooms are decent, but I was put off by the baby roaches running around in the bathroom. We asked for a room that overlooked the garden instead of the highway so as to avoid the... More

Good location, near downtown Nairobi, 20 min walk ( daylight only ). Good security.Good breakfast, included. A little pricy, but felt safe and comfortable. Garden side rooms are quiet. Front desk will look after bookings, or on site drivers ( for hire ) willget you places.

A basic but clean hotel in central Nairobi. The rooms are very noisy as they have open ventilation slits into the tiled corridor, which means our sleep was very disturbed by guests and staff walking through the corridor and talking noisily. It was okay for the one night before our safari started, but this is definitely not the best hotel... More
