The hotel is a good price for the quality you get. Has a great location. Bathrooms could get some improvement.

The rooms are very dingy and ill-equipped. We did not have a table fan in our room, and got it after repeatedly prodding the staff. The surroundings are unsafe, and frequented by drunk men and prosts soliciting. The hotel itself has an open noisy casino and so for all these reasons it's definitely not a family place. We had been... More

While touring in Mombasa, I randomly met a tour operator named Paul Mwendwa who helped me to book the perfect spot in downtown Nairobi. It was a welcome refreshment after spending three weeks living in the village. The price was right, the service was friendly, and the breakfast spread incredible!! Paul was so kind in helping me find a hotel... More

Positives; excellent location, decent food Negatives; -elevators broke down 3 times in 4 nights I stayed here. When working, they are real slow (I was on the 6th floor - and sometimes walking was faster). -Guards every where! I found this more irritating than safe - especially if you stay longer than 1 night. -Guest to your room ok if... More

I stayed four nights at this hotel in October 2009. The price was good for Nairobi, around US $70, but I can't recommend it. The hotel is old and lacks modern amenities. There's a terrible internet room with slow computers tucked away on the 2nd floor. There's a loud casino/disco on the ground floor and meeting rooms on 2nd floor... More

We arrived there after a horrible 14 hour bus journey from Dar es Salaam on which I had be extremely sick. I was dehydrated, looked like hell and was being sick far too much. Wow – what a dump! We got stuck in Nairobi during the Kenya Airways strike and this was the “hotel” the Airline put us at. The nightclub went until 4 am – and it was so loud in our room you didn’t miss a lyric – just like you were on the dance floor. Nothing about the room was clean... More

Good, clean room on the 10th floor- beware, there was no screen on the windows so if you have a kid or little one-be careful!!!! Staff was helpful and it's basic bathroom but it got the job done the night I stayed there. Bed was huge and comfy.
