Photos of this B&B purposely don't show the street view! We were happy with the room and the service. The price was good, too... but this is a bad neighborhood. Our friend who lives in Nairobi was nervous about taking us there at night when she found out where it was, then recommended we stay elsewhere on the 2nd half... More

The value of this place will depend on the expectatives...if you look for a luxurious hotel, that's not you place. But if you just one to spend one or two nights, in a cheap place, with an "african" decoration, good food and a great staff...this one is for you, if you have a part of adventure spirit inside of you.... It is clean and safe, but nothing special. A decent price for a city with high priced accommodations. The rooms are very simple and the guest lodge is strict on the check out time. It isn't advised that you walk around in the area (even during the day) so you will need to take cabs to get around, which isn't... More

We spent two nights at Khwesa before going on safari. We had booked an airport pick-up through the hotel (at KSHS 1600) and it went smoothly in spite of a two hour delay. We arrived at the hotel at 6:00 am and were able to check in immediately. We received a room facing the road. As others have mentioned, there... More

I traveled with my 2 kids, and searched from Paris hotels & safari tours on the net. I didn't want to stay long in Nairobi so I searched for affordable priced hotel and I read about Khweza. It sounded ok, so I booked and asked infos about safaris to the manager. We had a few emails together and I finally... More

The only drawback to this place is that it's on a busy road. BUT if you ask for a quiet room, a lot of the traffic noise can be avoided. The roof restaurant has a great location. The menu is not large but it's far better then trying to venture into night time Nairobi. The food is quite good.

We got one of the large, front-facing rooms... it was so noisy I didn't sleep all night. Like other reviews have noted, get one of the interior rooms. You have to turn the hot water heater ON in your room, or you won't have hot water. I'd recommend this hotel for a night as a stop over between safaris, but... More

A group of 20 of us stayed here at the start and end of two weeks in Kenya. Rooms are comfortable with hot showers, staff were fantastically friendly and helpful, food was great and the rooftop bar/restaurant was magnificent. Not for 5* princesses but a really lovely place to stay. Will recommend to friends and intend to return myself. I... More

We had to stay in Nairobi for one night before our flight to Zanzibar. This hotel is Ok but wouldn't stay again. Water leeking from the ceiling. There was a TV but the wire didn't reach the plug. Food was horrible and they had nothing on their own menu - it was either fish stew or meat stew and nowhere... More

This is a budget hotel. But a nice one. The rooms are ok but ask for one that dosn't face the street. The service is exellent and the staff are helpfull and friendly. The breakfeast is big and good There's free wifi We stayed in dec. 2010 and came back twice In early jan 2011
