We stayed here because it was recommended by a local friend. We made a mistake. It is loud, very very loud, being right on Langata Road, If you want a good night's sleep don't stay here, we were surrounded by garbage and the appalling conditions of Western Nairobi. However it was fun to people watch and the gate guard is... More

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we apologize for your bad experience. We're in the process of double glazing and upgrading our rooms and this should solve the issue you had with noise. On the food issue, we appreciate the feedback, kindly send me your details so I can follow up with other guests that had food... More

I usually follow the saying that if one doesn't have anything good to say one should not say anything. However, this hotel is an exception because I think people should know that it is located next to a Mosque where men think that it is ok to sing loudly all night long outside, for everyone to hear. So, beware. The... More

I apologise to you and your family for the unpleasant experience you had during your stay at Mvuli House. Unfortunately your visit coincided with the Holy Month of Ramadhan, hence the multiple calls to prayer at dawn. This is however being resolved by The National Environment Management Authority which has issued and is in the process of implementing Noise Regulations... More

I had my corporate guests stay here for a week. They were particularly impressed with the staff's courtesy and willingness to assist them. I had breakfast with my guests too, one of the best I have had in any hotel around Nairobi. Recommended for business travelers.

Stayed here one night on route to safari. Clean, decent and friendly place for the price. If you stay here, try the restaurant. The food was delicious

Booked & pre-paid for Mvuli via Hotels.com. Rang Mvuli to confirm booking a few days before & booked Muvli taxi transfer from airport. Transfer took us to West Breeze & on arrival told us Mvuli was fully booked. It was late in evening, taxi wouldn't take us anywhere else. West Breeze agreed we had pre-paid & so we stayed. West... At first I was a little concerned about this small hotel since Nairobi is kind of a tough place for a woman to travel alone, but once I got settled in the staff made me feel completely welcome and safe. The rooms are modest but very clean and the restaurant food was great. I'd stay there again!

Mvuli house offers travellers a clean, safe, efficient place to stay in Nairobi. The staff were always cheerful and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who does not need to be downtown.
